It's fun to read through the books making the connections and noticing the inconsistencies you point out. my kids and I go talk about them as they do the same. question: is it possible to have enough magic to ride a broom, but not enough to go to Hogwarts? so not quite a squib? if so then maybe they could play quidditch.

Of course, this might make the Trelawney prediction wrong? Random note: isn't this the first friendly interaction between Ron and Lavender? Maybe where they first noticed each other?

2024-07-27 17:28:10 +0000 UTCI donβt think dementors can see through the cloak because I believe it is canon that they are blind? They operate through other senses, which to Dumbledoreβs credit, would essentially render an invisibility cloak useless against them.

2024-07-27 16:31:57 +0000 UTCI think it's more likely that the Dementor's Kiss has an area of effect, at least it seems that way in Chapter 5. But I think more important to mention is that Dementor's don't see really do they, they don't have eyes. They sense and feed off human emotions, so I don't think the cloak would hide him, it's like the Mirror, it's Soul Based. Anyway, if this is interesting to you, I'd love to hear you thoughts, keep winning bros!!!
