Naming convention

The convention is as follows:
First determine the general field the product will be in. The more pleasure and/or music based products have a carni-/onmivore family.
Projects designed for fursuits have a herbivore family addressed to them.
Each family has also assigned more detailed features.
Vulpes are analog systems to create vibrations from music, while Canines are used for the same, but in the digital domain.
After the family is determined, I look at defining features.
Like it is small, big, purpose of use, etc.
Those determine the species in that family. Which fits them best, the species is used.
Once a species is chosen, I stick to it for the project and if the species goes extinct, I am not going to offer that particular project anymore.
As their patron does not exist, I'm not willed to produce more and also want to raise awareness for species extinction that way.
The reason behind is that I looked often and saw how many species are close to extinction and it saddens me.
I don't choose a project patron based on how close to extinction a species is and many of the projects are not close to extinction yet (because many fox and wolf species are not very close to extinction.)
