Please forgive us for the late. It's not a simple season and things are going a bit slow, but as always we will be releasing the next models in time for day 2-3 July.
Here the trailer of the next 3d printable set, the Thieves Guild.
They are perfect to be used as thieves, assassins, rogues and bandits, but also ranger and warriors due to their versions with and without hoods ;)
If you are curious about the background of this faction, here some lore, just below the picture :)
As always it's probably not grammatically perfect, but it might help for your roleplaying session or to immerse yourself in our universe.
THIEVES GUILD LORE
Thieves Guild Adepts
Very little is known about the legendary Thieves' Guild in Rotvar an ancient and dark organization. Born in the shadows of ancient eras, it is only known that it is led by a group called the Hand of Shadow. You cannot enter the Thieves 'Guild, it is the Thieves' Guild who chooses its members among the most talented thieves. In a world riddled by monsters and demons, the Adept Thieves of the guild are not only trained to be invisible shadows, but also skilled fighters with swords, daggers, bows and crossbows. There is no treasure or relic that the Guild cannot steal out of greed or a wealthy patron.
Thieves Guild Steeds
The swift and elegant horses of the Thieves Guild are a crossbreed for quick escapes and silent robberies. Used as battle horses only rarely, they lend themselves perfectly to the dynamic fighting style of the warrior thieves, who shot darts and slash with their blades while encircling their opponents.
Aaron Blacksparrow
Joining the Guild at a young age, he’s the most talented thief in the Guild. It’s famous in the lands of Rotvar for having kidnapped the raven demon Shadowclaws from the dungeons of Dosmagal under the nose of Lord Casymir himself. Thanks to his deeds, and his incredible skill with the sword worthy of a master swordsman, he become one of the five Thieves Master of the Hand of Shadow. Today in Rotvar a nursery rhyme can be heard every now and then “watch out in the evening if you hear the crows singing, hide the jewels for Blacksparrow is hungry!”
Wendy Greywing
Coming from a noble family, Wendy was kidnapped by the Guild as a child after the Hand of Shadow discovered that her family owned the "Shadowghost Cloak" since various generations, one of the ancient relics of the early years of the Thieves Guild, a cloak that make anyone who wear it invisible. The Greywing family refused to give up the magical cloak in exchange of their daughter, replying that a child life was not worth their honor and treasure.
The Shadow Hand should have killed the child but decided instead to raise her with Aaron, who was just few years older than her, in the only way the guilds know.
As one of the most feared thieves in the guild in her adulthood, she decided to take revenge on her family by stealing the Shadow Cloak, just to discover that the it was not magical at all but simply an ornamental object.
Today, Wendy wears the cloak as a trophy as she robs her favorite victims from the nobles of the kingdom of New Torm.
Shadowclaws The Raven Demon
Captured as a demonic offspring by the Requiem Brotherhood, Shadowclaw was held in chain in the Requiem underground Catacombs waiting to be "judged", until Aaron and his thieves anesthetized the beast with soporific darts and bring it out of the dungeons with an intricate and perfect plan, without killing any Requiem in the process.
It took years for Aaron to bond with the beast: Shadowclaws tried to kill his savior every time he tried to approach to tame him in the beginning, even losing an eye in the process.
Adriana – Thieves Pinup
In the Thieves Guild each adept has a very specific role, especially based on the most developed talents. Adriana, often acting as a courtesan or dancer for the high nobility, is specialized in locating treasures or relics hidden in the mansion of the and powerful nobles of New Torm. Once her “costumers” are poisoned or anesthetized, there is no lock, door, cell or chest that she cannot open.

We are super tired, it was a truly hard release as we had no rest between one set and another during the last 3 months due to some personal problems. But this weekend will help to regain some strenght and be back stronger than ever, some new concepts will be made for the next release and shown during the beginning of the next month, so you already will be able to see what's coming in the next season, including the next Epic Boss.

I'll support because you are one of the best artist and I like your work and once in a while a no good release could happen, so it's not a big issue but I hope to see something like the previous release.

The pinup has her back to a door, on the other side of the door is the keyhole where you would expect, but then there is a deadbolt on the hinge side of the door? What is that bolt for?

And personally, I'm glad they're all human (though the ones with hoods could just as easily be elves)--eventually, you get tired of half-tabaxi-half-aasimar wizard-paladins, and just want to get back to classic old school fantasy.

Though all the models looks amazing they are all one sided.. A thieves guild would be full of all races, goblins, bugbears, elves, dragonborns, etc.. Making all of them human is in my opinion kind of a cop out because you can copy and paste the bodies and just change the heads... I appreciate your efforts in giving us great modular minis but I think in this particular release should have been more diverse and maybe made more unique looking models. Just my 2 cents.
