Next Month "Modular Models"

Hello guys!
Very quick update, as we are still in the middle of the sculpting :)
We did some test with the next modular models (October Release, the Fighters Guild) and tried to mix and match the weapon options. We have to admit that we are really happy with the result, the Fighters Guild Modular Models alone let you create tons of heroes, encounters, warbands and town guards. Weapons are also provided without hands, so you can play with the empty fists in the pack and use any kind of weapons (even of the older sets) in your slicer, just before printing.
The rest of the set is full of interesting stuff, like doble Mount, working with both Heroes of the Month! Some of you already saw some heroic preview in the Lens update... do you want us to tease some Lens quick video from time to time?

On another topic, AMAZONS! Kickstarter will be Live day 1 October (if KS interface doesn't trick us!). www.kickstarter.com/projects/amazons/amazons
We really hope you might consider to jump in and help unlocking more Epic Bosses in the Campaign. To answer some of your questions:
Yes, Centaurs are there! And they are already unlocked for everyone who support the KS!
Yes, a Medusa too! But there's a more epic one in the stretch Goals ;)
Here a quick picture to show you some testprints:

Thanks :) Well they match the month theme. Orc Barbarians were basically in underwear both male and females, but the dwarven defenders ladies and men had the same heavy runic armor. If you are talking about the pinups, well they are just the Pinup freebies, no excuses :)

Artisan Guild

Yes they are already in the pack :)

Artisan Guild

Is there a chance of getting empty hands too, like a fist, finger pointing and open hand? Edit: They also look fantastic as always!

It's really great to see the female characters dressed as practical heroes. Almost all previous female minis have been sculpted to be more eye candy than heroines. I might be in the minority based on previous comments I've read but I would love to have more of these practical and heroic women miniatures in the future.

Anders Knight

So many combinations, can make an army virtually. Going to be mixing for days!

SteveWasEre

Awesome stuff, can't wait for print some of these guys out :) Any way to add a double bladed sword, ala the elven dual bladed scimitar? I'd love to have as many options as possible obviously :D Keep up the great work!

ssandulak

Cant wait to print them. Will they be recieving the angelic makeover? Or is that reserved for the hero units?

Will there be additional head ornament options? These are so dope!!

Minh Pham

Can we get the profile you use to print in FDM this minis?

Miguel

So close to cancelling CastNPlay, this takes me one step closer. Your models are not only more dynamic but more varied due to the modular approach, the only thing keeping me with them now is the other bit - buildings, scatter and so on, doesn't help that the angels and demons really didn't do it more me and usually they're right up my street. Speaking of themes did you see my Fae suggestion in the community section?

John Norton

Love the variety of weapons. Looking to be a tough group of heavy armor fighters. but I agree with D W, if they can afford Plate Mail, they should be able to afford a Metal Shield. Also hope all the helmets come in different designs in the final and also as stand alone. Might be nice having helmets in hand or on the base later if needed.

demonwombatofdoom

I really like the ladies wearing practical plate armor.

Hey check your PM :)

Artisan Guild

Hello I have a question. Ive been a patreon for 2 releases now and I have all the vampires but when I first joined and tried to download the dark depths for some reason only got the umber hulk and beholder files. I was wondering how I could get the rest. I really wanted the mind flayers.

Tait Blackburn

Those poses are not really working with bows, but if you feel creative, there's a Bow in the Welcome Box (weapon racks folder). You could insert one of those in the empty fists using meshmixer or any slicer before printing :) Same for the dwarven crossbow from previous month (or MMF shop)

Artisan Guild

There's a Maul in the pack, However you can also use the dwarven one from the previous releases :)

Artisan Guild

I can do it in meshmixer or Maya or zbrush but I'm not the average user.

Adam Beck

Can you make a helmet version without the tassle on the one knight as well as making a variant for the others with the tassle?

Adam Beck

Will you be adding a bow and/or crossbow? Or did i miss a previous release?

i want to know the settings too because i have an ender 3

Miguel

Any chance for a rounded non flanged mace?

Joe Kushner

We need some cool looking 2 handed mauls for these paladin/worriors.

Kinda sad all of them have heavy armor but they look amazing. To me they look more like a group of paladins. Fighters in dnd have a broader weapon and armor use. Also what were the setting for the amazon prints FDM they look amazing?

Generalnuke

there was a free model?

Jorge Zaragoza

I had a heck of a time getting the small hands etc to print out but your free model of the fighter with the warhammer came out perfectly.

Water is Life

Is it possible to get stls of some of these guys already put together?

Water is Life

I love the dynamic hair and capes like they're blowing in the wind. But it would be nice to get some models that had static hair and clothing pieces. For the last three sets they've all been blowing even when it isn't an action pose. It's it possible to have some where the hair and clothes just lay flat with no wind?

Julio Ibarra

Those look fantastic!! Any chance on getting a solid steel shield as well?
