The Road Ahead...
Added 2019-05-29 18:55:09 +0000 UTCHello Adventurers, we are really happy to tell you that between a goal and the other we had been able to finalize the Alternative Weapon wrist balljoint system for the 4 Dwarven Guardians. It's not a long job, but we unlocked so many goals in 1 month that we had really our hands full. :)
Talking about full hands... the new guardians will get an extra hammer, you can see it from the picture! it's short and very heavy, just like the guardians like!
Flokir will also come with the swappable hand options being a special, but Alvar the Giantslayer will stay with his heroic unique hammer.
About the Next Goals!
At start we promised 4 models + 1 hero. We decided to make an extra the last month (being Dunn Half-Ogre) because we had time to prepare most of the models before we even launched the Patreon Page (being this our first month!).
With the 300 Goal we are hitting we will have a minimum of 2 Heroes each month we advanced this a bit by making Folkir (are we running too much?)
This means that the extra are going the be the third model. Merrian Silverfinger, the Dwarf from Trouble's n Tavern will be in fact the free additional bonus model of June. You can see him here:
400 Patrons Goal: Fantasy Pin-ups
When we reach this Goal we will always make a special sculpt suited to be printed as big figure or miniature: a fantasy Pin-up themed on the month topic. She could be a dark elf, a dwarf, a human, but even a beautiful she-orc. You surely do not need to worry about her kin, you can be sure that even if we make a goblin she will be gorgeous ;)
We try to make things balanced for regular models: by this we mean, for example, that if we are doing orc berserker both male and females get the same armor class, like the dwarves on top of this picture being all in heavy armor (not a realistic one).
But on another hand, with Fantasy Pin-up we can do figurines that doesn't need to stay under these kind of rules.

What I was trying to bring out, was two things. One, Andrea is already sculpting female figures that dress the way a real warrior should, not half-naked (see the female dwarves coming next month). Two, I trust his artistic expression that he can sculpt a sexy female without making it look cheap and slutty, more like say a Marvel heroine, they look pretty, strong, and sexy, but not slutty. :)

Daniel, we have non-slutty Dwarves already coming this month...I think Andrea wants to showcase his talent with sexy (not slutty) sculpts that are not in the mold of all the other models we are getting from him. So I'm fine with one "sexy" model per month added in to all the other goodies we are getting!
