Dear Wintergatan Patrons,
Today is such a great day, my long time friend and Video-Ally Hannes Knutsson is Joining Team Wintergatan full time to help me produce the videos for the Wintergatan Youtube Channel during Autumn 2019! This is entirely made possible thanks to your amazing support!
During several periods of my video making I have worked together with Hannes but we have always used evenings, weekends or nights for our collaboration, this is the first time we can fully commit as a team to deliver great content to all of you. It will make it possible for me to focus more on the MMX and the music. Hannes will travel to France as often as possible to film with me on site and when he is in Sweden he will edit video I have filmed.
When I was struggling with the first Machine me and Hannes spent a lot of time laughing together at everything that went wrong. It was such a great way to push through that project. Now Hannes returns like Gandalf to help me finish the MMX in the same way.
There is a Swedish proverb that doesn’t seem to be working all that well in English but it describes this perfectly: “Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half sorrow.”
It is also thanks to you that I have been able to work together with my awesome Team mates Emma and Elaine, who introduced themselves in the last post. Together we have looked through all your feedback regarding Patreon Rewards (thanks for that) and it seems again like most of you are not here with the intention of receiving rewards, the majority of you who wrote back just want to support the Wintergatan project. This is the second time we have received that same amazing feedback, Thank you so much for being here for that reason and for letting us know. We will keep all reward levels equal as before and over time implement reward ideas that we can deliver without taking me out of the MMX Studio.
If you have any questions, please send it to us here on Patreon and Emma and Elaine will get back to you while I am trying to make the MMX behave.
The slow progress speed of the Machine is a constant challenge, working harder doesn’t seem to make any difference so now I am trying to learn how to work smarter instead, to improve this speed. Having this great Team around me is a giant step in the right direction.Thank you for believing in the project together with us!
Martin, Emma and Elaine - Team Wintergatan
