Added 2025-06-04 00:48:42 +0000 UTCHi all! Apologies for the delay in posting anything on here, had a bit of a family thing I had to sort out and wasn't able to work during the time. All good and back now. Just quickly, if you're interested, I'll be doing a Doctor Who specific livestream likely tomorrow (potentially earlier than usual, but it depends) or if not then Thursday over on YouTube, as there's so many spoilers for the show being spread around and I, for one, don't want to see any before the episodes.
Anyway! This video in full with the reaction included (this here is just the review and trivia sections) will be posted out after tomorrow's livestream. If no livestream, the video will go out tomorrow anyway.

Just off the subject, but: Lot of references to George Pal’s “Tom Thumb” in your commentary— Have you seen Pal’s even bigger-budget Cinerama fairytale follow-up, 1962’s “Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm”, which was nearly lost media for thirty years, before being restored for Blu-ray a few years ago? (And yes, Russ Tamblyn’s Tom makes a cameo.)

2025-06-04 13:51:13 +0000 UTCI saw this film as a kid in the early 1970's. It fascinated me but I remember feeling so sad for the Shrinking Man. Matheson was such a prolific writer. My personal favourite was the teleplay for Steven Spielberg's Duel (1971), based on his own short story.
