Added 2025-05-23 22:35:52 +0000 UTCHi all! Here's my UNCUT reaction to "Split" (2016), which is the second film in the series of "Eastrail 177" films in the trilogy. I've already got the "Unbreakable" UNCUT reaction out and will also be watching "Glass" at some point too.
If you'd like to watch the other films in the trilogy too, I've made a collection so you can find them easier.
This is a great second instalment to this trilogy, changing up the genre to Horror / Mystery too, which I wasn't sure would work and it definitely does! I think you'll like this, if you like wide ranging performances from actors. James McAvoy is superb in this! I hadn't realised how wide his acting ability was until this. Anya Taylor-Joy plays a superb role too, giving that perfect mix of frightened, traumatised and wise survival skills.

Noo! Oh god, that's an awful name haha! Yeah, it's very MCU style, so I can see why they mention it about that ending. I didn't expect it, but makes sense for it to tie back to it. Without it, it would be a completely unrelated film. Like "10 Cloverfield Lane" being completely unrelated without the last act lol. Oh no, Glass tanked?! I was hoping it would be good... will have to see what I think. Thank you Eric

2025-05-25 17:00:19 +0000 UTCIt wasn’t called the “Eastrail 177 Trilogy”. It was called the—I kid you not—“Shyamalan Superhero Cinematic Universe”. Yes. Somebody made an MCU Avengers joke about the ending Split twist, and it went straight to his head. 🤦♂️ Or, at least it did before “Glass” tanked.
