Hi all! Here's my reaction to the wonderful "The Bachelor And The Bobby Soxer" (1947), a superb film with a somewhat different role for both Cary Grant and Myrna Loy... mainly Loy. I love Grant's acting and him alongside Loy is just amazing, despite Loy being a lot more reserved and sombre for the most part in this.

Also, starring the brilliant Shirley Temple. This being the first film I've seen her in. She's got such a funny little personality and definitely an older head on younger shoulders.

A brilliant story, maybe it was just me but it felt like it would have been fairly controversial for the time... even now it would be!
