EARLY ACCESS *Reaction Only* | The Ghost and Mrs Muir (1947) Movie Reaction

Hi all! Here's the Early Access to "The Ghost and Mrs Muir (1947)" reaction, but just the reaction only, as I'm working on the trivia etc. This will be the next video out on the channel and will most likely have another 30-40 mins on top of this run time with trivia altogether.

I hope you all enjoy this! I worked a long time on this one trying to nail it all down. You can probably tell it took so many days to complete this, just over a week, in fact.

It's such a wonderful and I hope you enjoy watching along with me. More to come soon!

Take care and stay safe!

Indeed it is! She was in quite a few movies during her childhood and was excellent in all of them. Probably most famous in "Miracle on Thirty Fourth Street", but I love her in a less well known movie (I don't like it but if I catch it on TCM, I end up hypnotized by it): "Tomorrow is Forever".

It’s been too long since I’ve seen this. A perfect ghost story… a perfect love story. And Bernard Herrmann’s score is the pièce de résistance.

Biff McKeldin

You loved it didn't you

Hope you understand what I meant to buy the romance for men you get two sides of it in this movie me overbearing sick offense a perfumed Playboy and that brass semen harsh and robust two sides of the coin. And you can't look at both at once you must choose a side. Or spend your life flipping the coin.

I'm a painter and I've done a lot of artwork and in regards to the one of Mrs Muir is considered a pin up he painted her as a pin-up girl. Which in itself is quite risque for that time period. The dialogue in this movie gets better every time I see it.

Is that a very young Natalie Wood? Inquiring minds want to know

Oh, this beautiful, beautiful movie! I always connect with "Portrait of Jennie", which I'm not sure if you've seen or not. I always cry too, at the end, and when Gregg has that marvelous monologue. Rex Harrison could do anything, just anything. Anna had a friendship with the Captain, and it's strongly implied that Martha had some sort of awareness, conscious or not, so Gregg watched out for all the ladies of Gull Cottage. You could have a whole other movie about Anna and the Captain and Martha and the Captain. It's part of what gives this movie its special life.
