Hi guys! Oh my, oh my... THIS FILM! I wasn't sure what this would be about, apart from it being a horror film with Anya Taylor Joy.
It's horrific, but so well done. That baby scene... what the hell... it came out of nowhere and really sets the tone of the film.
The film had me on the edge for quite a lot of the time and it pulls off the eerie, old fashioned slow burn horror well. I say slow burn, as some things take a lot of time to pay off, but they DO pay off in the end.
I will say that the cinematography is superb in this for quite a lot of the shots and the choices made visually and audibly really add to the feel of the film.
Hopefully I picked up on all the religious cues with this, as there seemed quite a lot. I must admit I struggled to understand what they were saying at first, but I soon adapt to it.
I hope you all enjoy watching this one along with me and seeing me get absolutely horrified at this.
