This is the reaction only and not the trivia yet, but considering I still need to edit that part, this may be out in a a couple of days on YouTube. I'm not sure yet, as I have a lot on at the moment.

Little Dill is based on Truman Capote, who was a childhood friend of Harper Lee's. She went with him when he was researching and interviewing for "In Cold Blood".

2024-06-30 22:41:57 +0000 UTCThe story is that when Gregory Peck was suggested as Atticus. the character based on her father, to Harper Lee, she was against the idea. Peck paid a visit to her house and asked if he could talk to her father. She sat outside to give the two men privacy. When the door opened again, she could have sworn it was her father, but it was Peck, who had comprehended so much of her father's quality in that space of time, that there was no longer any hesitation from Lee about who was going to be Atticus Finch.
