This is a great point and something we considered as well, so to ease your mind, classes will have unique ways to gain stamina and MULTIPLE ways in most cases to gain stamina as well. And you exactly hit on what we have for a barbarian, so GREAT IDEA!

we 100% just launched our own world building TEAM and will definitely be a thing we release as well! Also! Yes rangers monks and rogues will have a stamina bar that works different than any other classes as well and each classes stamina bar works different. IDK if I would want to call it something different, that could create confusion etc, because ALL stamina bars are already different, so calling it something else would just be "semantics" and could lead to confusion about "what is the difference between stamina and focus?" and the answer would be nothing. So I hope that makes sense, but that is my thought process on it! <3

Missed the stream but loved almost everything I heard... The only thing I think of is that maybe Rangers/Monks/Rogues need something a little different than Stamina. Maybe more like Focus points/meter? It's not their stamina but their focus that determines their success. I also wanted to know if you're creating any lore/setting to go along with the DC20 mechanics.

I have one worry for Barbarians. Most of their SP generation appears to be from getting hit, therefore it would feel bad if they have a high AC. And especially bad, if an ally "protects" them from getting hit. This could lead to unintentional conflict (or intentional trolling). Maybe change the while Raging effect to be: While Raging, gain 1 SP when a hostile creature targets you with an attack and when a hostile creature deals damage to you. This way Barbarians aren't punished for having a high AC, but still have a high risk reward build (low AC).
