General Update

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since the last update now, and for that I must apologize. The following two paragraphs will be an explanation of the late update, but if you'd rather get on with the actual news feel free to skip to paragraph 4^^

I'm not happy about this whole situation. I've not been able to do nearly as much as I wanted to the last month or so, and while this is not by any means meant as an excuse I feel you all deserve an explanation. As you all hopefully know 100% of the money received through patreon goes back into purchasing assets for Occupational Hazards Episode 2, Personally I don't get any of the money. As such I need to have a day job in order to afford to live, and recently that has gone a bit sideways. 

Last week the workplace laid off 10 people, and by the end of the month they plan to lay off 10 more. My contract also happens to expire at the end of this month, so it looks like I'll be out of a job soon. Safe to say this knowledge has brought with it a fair bit of anxiety, and I've been preoccupied with finding alternative work. As such the time available to work on my games have been reduced, leading to a lack of writing productivity. Fingers crossed I'll have something figured out come October though and we can get this show back on track^^ ... The upside to the writing slowing down though is that it gives the art a chance to catch up ever so slightly, so I suppose it's not all bad xP

Now for the actual game news!

Nothing much has happened on the writing front, but as usual I have continued to commission art for Occupational Hazards Episode 2. Additionally I've been working with an artist regarding a full redesign of the game's UI, and while I can't show anything yet I can say with a fair degree of certainty that it's going to look amazing! I really can't wait to show you all the progress, hopefully soon :3

I've also done a bit more organizational work on Episode 1, including trying to figure out a small UI update, testing steam uploading, planning a trailer, and taking into consideration re-writing some of the scenes now that I have gotten a bit better at writing since I first made the game - stay tuned for more info regarding that~
