A recommendation for another oldie b&w great movie that has stood the test of time is Some Like It Hot (1959), with Marilyn Monroe at the absolute height of her comedic prowess, the wittiest script, and twists and turns galore!

You have to live with the decision, just like they would irl. (for the record, i think they did, and that the death penalty is an atrocity anyway, but I think it's a ballsy move for the film to never show us if they were right.)

If you haven't done To Kill A Mockingbird, you really really should.

2024-05-24 06:16:29 +0000 UTCI'm glad you guys did this one. 12 Angry Men is usually considered to be one of the best movies of all time. The acting is amazing as are the script and directing. What's even more incredible is you never actually see any of the trial. The viewer has to piece it all together from the recollection of the jurors. The movie is also considered to be one of the best at showing how unreliable eyewitness testimony can be.

2024-05-16 20:32:42 +0000 UTCSomehow, the jokes keep getting more and more cringe. I love that the expressions on Zay's face is just "I don't wanna say it I don't wanna say it." Love this movie, the simplicity of scenery, the fact that their opinions switch but that it seems organic, plus black and white movies just hit different to me for some reason.
