Also I can't believe I never ever saw Menderbug. Maybe I should play it again and make it my sole purpose to find them? I think the moth tribe was so interesting to hear about, I never clocked the Radiance statue at the top of Crystal Peak! I guess I never went back there again and wouldn't have recognized the shape yet, but its so cool that it was just sat there, a menacing future foe waiting for me and the cause of the orange juice. I reeeally wanted to know how we got out of the Abyss around the sealed door haha, will have to have a think about that and what I want to settle on as my own headcannon. I gotta check out that Quirrel prequel comic. My friend who is definitely still alive and I will meet them again as Hornet in Silksong.

Loved watching this and learning more about the lore. Never knew about the menderbug! 😂 Also, after finishing watching your entire playthrough, it made me start playing Hollow Knight again but this time I'm letting my 3 daughters watch me. I'll play the whole thing with them. They love it! My 2 year old will say excitedly "Dada another bug, another bug!" whenever she spots an enemy (yes, EVERY one!) And they all get super excited when they hear a grub or the map maker. Thank you for your playthrough which reminded me how awesome this game is and giving me the idea to experience it with my girls! ♥ I... Might not find all grubs with them though. I'll pretend I cant find the last one 👀

2022-10-06 14:22:04 +0000 UTCAbout the abyss. During the kickstarter devs promised to add "the abyss" if they get 50k USD. They got 30k and added it anyway. On some interview later they mentioned that abyss had been initially planned to have 5 levels. And what we got is just "abyss shore" or level 1. My personal headcanon - deeper levels of the abyss connect with different caves, some of which leads to the surface far from hallownest. And that's also how other vessels (like the Lost Kin or the ones Hornet kills) got out
