Apologies for how long it's taken. These non-sex shots take way longer than you'd expect. Sex shots end up being around 8-24 frame loops at the most. This shot was a whopping 120 frames!
As with the others, this is 100% puppet animation. Came out pretty nice, don't you think?
This shot is actually based on the same frame from the original comic as the previous shot was.
Comics can get away with much bigger jumps between events from frame to frame, so I had to work with what I had to fill in the gaps. I think I also managed to make Asuka's hair style a little more on model than it was in the original comic frame!.
I'm putting together a little behind the scenes breakdown of this shot, just like I did for the others, and also compiling all the intro shots together. It's looking pretty fantastic!
