Charmeleon on display
Added 2018-08-05 16:35:35 +0000 UTCDid this drawing as part of a trade with a friend of mine, who finds charmeleon to be as hot and charming as its name suggests. Now, there are a couple of creative liberties taken with this, as you can see. That's because I want to develop my own semi-realism style, and although I'll preserve certain features like the big belly, the thin and relatively short neck, the thick haunches and the head, I just can't enjoy the super weird and cartoony paws. This drawing took me like 4 hours in total, and half of that time was spent figuring out the feet. I torture myself, I know, but at least the paws look far more decent than their cartoony counterparts.
