UPDATE ON THE CASE OF FIFTY FIFTY

note from me: These girls AND their parents got played so bad. Poor girls.

Ahn Sung-il = CEO of The Givers, the producer of hit song Cupid and the one who convinced the members to leave ATTRAKT

Jin Seung-young = former CEO of Warner Music Korea

Jeon Hong-joon = CEO AND FOUNDER OF ATTRAKT

In connection with the suspicion of "Tampering" of the group FIFTY FIFTY, the transcripts of Ahn Sung-il, CEO of The Givers, and Jin Seung-young, former CEO of Warner Music Korea, were released.

Dispatch released a transcript of CEO Ahn Sung-il and former CEO Jin Seung-young meeting and talking with the parents of FIFTY FIFTY members (hereinafter referred to as parents) on May 13 and 17 last year, respectively. The transcript included Ahn Sung-il and Jin Seung-young gossiping about ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong-joon and seemingly encouraging a lawsuit to terminate the exclusive contract.

CEO Ahn Sung-il, who met the parents first, said CEO Jeon Hong-joon had no plans for FIFTY FIFTY, adding, "The moment (FIFTY FIFTY) entered the Billboard, it turned completely 180 degrees."

An Sung Il also falsely claimed to have connections with major industry figures and projects. At one point, he stated, “Adore reached out. Director Min Hee Jin offered a sum and asked me to manage their new rookie group,” despite having no personal connection to Min Hee Jin.

Following these meetings, the parents of the former Fifty Fifty members reportedly met with An Sung Il and Warner Music four days apart to discuss ways to leave Attract, raising further evidence of a tampering attempt.

In addition, Jeon created anxiety by telling the parents that all 9 billion won in advance payments received from Interpark were owed by members, and he said he met with Warner Music CEO Jin Seung-young to make a buyout deal, adding that the prerequisite is that he is in charge of FIFTY FIFTY. Those were lies.

Four days later, the parents met with former CEO Jin Seung-young, then representative of Warner Music Korea.

Former CEO Jin Seung-young said, "Warner Music Korea will support artists as they choose, while talking to the effect that CEO Jeon Hong-joon may take out a loan with FIFTY FIFTY and use it to raise male idols." In addition, it promised full support for FIFTY FIFTY's provisional injunction lawsuit to suspend the validity of FIFTY FIFTY's exclusive contract.

FIFTY FIFTY, which gained global popularity with "Cupid" early last year, suddenly applied for an injunction to suspend the validity of its exclusive contract to Attract in June of the same year due to non-transparent settlement. As a result, Attract said, "There were attempts by outside forces to rob FIFTY FIFTY members of FIFTY FIFTY," pointing to outsourcing company The Givers CEO Ahn Sung-il and Warner Music Korea as the people behind it.

The court rejected FIFTY FIFTY's application and appeal for suspension of the validity of the exclusive contract, saying it is difficult to say that its obligations such as providing settlement data and health care have been violated, and only member Kina returned to the ATTRAKT in the process.

Since then, ATTRAKT has terminated its exclusive contracts with Saena, Sio and Aran and filed a lawsuit for damages worth 13 billion won. In response, the three former members have filed a complaint against CEO Jeon Hong-joon, asking him to pay about 300 million won in settlement.

Ngl it's rather odd Ah Sung would mention Ador & MHJ "despite having no personal connection to Min Heejin" ? Last yr before all these plots & chess moves being made were revealed I would have just said he was name dropping cuz new jeans was popular but now? There is too much interconnected stuff between Kakoa/SM/MHJ imo for it not to seem weird he'd name drop her & her company. Just a gut feeling.

I wasn’t around when all this went down. I knew the song, but nothing about the group. It sounds like there are parallels to what is happening with NJ. Is that right?
