A documentary film about BTS leader RM will premiere at the Busan International Film Festival.

On the afternoon of the 3rd, a press conference for the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) was held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Acting Executive Director Park Do-shin, Chairman Park Kwang-soo, Senior Programmer Nam Dong-chul, and Market Director Kim Young-duk.

During the press conference, the 'Busan International Film Festival' unveiled a teaser reel featuring this year's major films, including RM's documentary, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, which garnered significant attention.

The documentary, directed by Lee Seok-jun, chronicles the making of RM's second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, released in May of this year. It also captures RM's personal journey during the eight months leading up to his military enlistment. RM, who enlisted on December 11 of last year, is currently serving in the military, making this documentary a special treat for fans.

RM: Right People, Wrong Place is expected to add even more excitement to the festival, as it will be screened in an outdoor theater.

This year's Busan International Film Festival will take place from October 2nd to 11th at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The festival will open with the Netflix film The Battle of Jeon, Ran, produced by director Park Chan-wook. A total of 279 films from 63 countries have been officially invited, including 55 screenings as part of the Community BIFF section.
