Marine didn’t play this year in the W because she wanted to be on the French Olympic team and they needed to qualify. Most French players stayed in France and played national team games. I think that’s why it was a big deal for Gabby Williams to sign with the Storm after the Olympics. They call Marine “the wizard” in France because she’s known for hitting 3s like on one foot, etc.
