This is part of the maturity process. We are not born loving, on the contrary, we want to have possession of others. This is the child's way of loving, for he cannot think otherwise. She cannot understand that the other is not her. How many adult people think like that, it's about the inability to love, lack of maturity. All the encounters of Jesus lead to the implantation of the Kingdom of God. But only those who are adults can implant this kingdom, who already understand that one only starts to love from the moment, that I don't want to change who I love. Usually when we fear someone bad next to us, it's because we recognize ourselves in that person. Jesus had nothing to fear because he was purely good, so he infected those around him. In Jesus' maturity you find the immense capacity to love the other as he is. To love means: to love the other as he is. So when we talk about loving others, we can realize how much we stop being children. We must question ourselves all the time about our maturity. Holiness begins with authenticity. That's why Jesus asks us to be like children, who are true and simple. This is what we should keep from our childhood and not the way of owning things for ourselves. You don't need anyone to watch you, because you've already seen that as a value. Immature people suffer doubled. Immature people want to change the facts, mature people let the facts change them.
