Friends S7 Ep: 11 & 12 - FULL REACTION

These two episodes felt so campy and fun! I love the dynamic between Rachel and Chandler and I am always up to seeing more shenanigans between Ross and Joey. Enjoy :)

Friends S7 Ep: 11 & 12 - FULL REACTION

Comments

Oscar, when you let out that gasp after Rachel tipped Chandler’s half of the cheesecake on the floor, I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants. I love that storyline and I agree that we need more Chandler and Rachel. Don’t worry what other people say, you watch the show however you want, I will say that for myself, I feel that the show just kept getting better and better. The physical comedy is brilliant and you have mentioned the way David Schwimmer uses movement of his body… I just watched an episode from season 10 with Nick where Ross is on fire and so hilarious. David was nominated for an Emmy award for the episode. I can’t believe he only has 15 episodes left. I’m glad to continue watching with you

Tara

I was hoping for Modern Family too! One of my favourites and so many different family dynamics to analyse!

Evie

I'd personally prefer he watch Seinfeld first, a true classic that compares well with Friends.

Paul

Another sitcom I highly recommend for when we sadly reach the end of Friends or whenever is 'Modern Family' it has around the same amount of seasons/episodes as friends and you will fall in love with it!

JT

I love the Chandler and Rachel dynamic so much

JT

My family kisses on the lips. I guess we're weird... 😕

John

I hated mushrooms most of my life until I was 21, then I suddenly loved them, I eat them all the time now

Kitty Underwood

I have a feeling those comments was referring to him trying not to laugh at jokes now considered offensive. I’m sorry but I’m always going to laugh at the fat jokes with Monica.

Rey

🍰👰

Jim Schmitz

Ross’s “ooh! A quarter” kills me every time! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Teej

Oh my god! I love Ross and Joey trying to get down from the roof! I also totally forgot about Phoebe with her fire alarm!!! 🤣

Teej

There’s all different ways people make cheesecake. I’m not much of a cheesecake person. The only kind I like is my mom’s recipe for Polish cheesecake. It’s just creamier and absolutely delicious!

Teej

And Joey showing up and whipping out a fork is one of the most "Joey" things ever.

David W Richards

Both of my Mom's parents used to kiss me and my sister on the lips. It never really ever occurred to me that there was something weird about it. We grew up in Waco Tx and every time we'd go visit our maternal grandparents in Corsicana, my Grampa would always shout with such joy "gimme some of that Waco sugar"😘

David W Richards

The way Joey has a fork loaded up in his jacket pocket ready for any food surprises that may come his way is just perfect lol

Paul

BTW Joey's full name is ACTUALLY Joseph Francis Tribbiani JUNIOR

David W Richards

Oh oh oh the one with the cheesecake...been there done that🤣🤣🤣 And I need to find out if you've seen one or the other of two movies but I don't want to spoil anything...I want you to be as shocked and surprised and delighted as we all were when we first saw it on Friends back in the "aughts" because there's another surprise guest appearance coming up of someone who used to be HUGELY famous back when Friends was new and it really just breaks my heart when you young'uns respond to the once live audience in the studio going absolutely berserk and y'all's response is always "I don't know who that is".

David W Richards

Phoebe and the fire alarm is so relatable. Been there. 🥴

Kelsey

The one with the cheesecake is a favorite of mine! 🫶🏽 Chandler & Rachel are such an underrated duo.

Hope

Very true, I don't know why that was so hard. "oh apparently her fiance used to date Monica so we're not inviting her." There, done.

Rhetorical Thrill

I love these fun episodes where it’s just friends having fun together. I ADORE the Joey/Phoebe moment in ep 11…and I truly think Joey would have given that discovery a shot just for his friend lol. Also, I always appreciate how thoughtful you are in how you view each episode. You always want to see them at their best and growing just like if they are your own friends. That’s one reason why watching your reactions is so great!

Heather Geer

Love these two episodes Ah don’t worry about people telling you how to look at things and don’t pay attention to them, I prefer to see your genuine reactions take it as seriously or unserious as you want. The cheesecake bit is so funny and I die laughing every time when Joey bring out the fork 😂. I feel so bad for Phoebe 😔 Episode 12 is one of my favorites they just get on to crazy shenanigans it’s so funny. All of there comedy together or separate just works so well. Phoebe with the fire alarm 😂 💀 and Monica and Chandler lmao the cleaning vs sexy time lmfao he knows her so well. Omg at the end when you were talking about them doing thing at night it reminded me of the SpongeBob episode when he was talking about doing things at night 🤣 “Look at me I’m taking out the trash… at night” “Hey look I’m mopping up the floor… at night” 😂

Raquel Perodin

I agree. But I also think it was dumb of them to not tell her the truth instead of just not inviting her. She would've understood and not wanted to come.

Heida

There are only two things that I can think of that change dramatically in the last seasons. One is Joey becoming more stupid as you have mentioned (which makes the joke about Ross yelling for rescue on the roof even funnier, since usually Joey is the stupid one) and the other is Phoebe's attitude, especially towards Chandler. The show still has some serious/emotional moments (as shown with the Phoebe and David storyline in E11) mixed in with humour and I don't think you have to "adjust" for anything. Rachel and Chandler is such an underrated duo. Jen and Matty had such good chemistry, which makes sense since they were especially close IRL. Even though I'm more of a chocolate cake person (chocolate in general), like you I have learned to appreciate cheesecake as I've gotten older after not liking it as a kid. Also, Joey just randomly having a fork in his pocket is SO Joey 🤣 I wonder if Monica wore white to the wedding on purpose as payback for not being invited, since it's considered rude towards the bride to wear white. Also, I never understood why they didn't just tell her the truth. Of course she was gonna wonder and be pissed she wasn't invited but Ross was PLUS ONE! About Phoebe in E12, I always thought it was odd that there was a fireman in the bulding looking in the trash chute. If there had been a fire I'm sure he would have mentioned it but he didn't. Also, despite what he says, it is actually not against the law to disconnect a smoke detector but should be discouraged in the event of a real fire. Fun facts: Jason George who plays the fireman is currently playing one in Station 19, a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy (he started there as a doctor and pops up now and again). Monica mentions to Chandler that he's reading about Archie and Jughead (it was also mentioned earlier in the series in the "what-if" episodes). Cole Sprouse who plays Ben went on to star in the CW's Riverdale, which is based on the Archie comics, as Jughead.

Heida

Agreed. My favorite friendship pairings are Rachel/Chandler and Phoebe/Ross.

Please don’t let anyone tell you how to look at or appreciate or love this show. There are always going to be heartfelt moments and funnily stupid moments. This will always be my comfort show. How you see moments is up to your interpretation. I love your reactions, Oscar. ❤️

Kelsey Cook

Episode 12 is probably the worst episode of season 7. Many of the jokes didn't work out that well. However, Phoebe was on fire. Haha

fix

ugh the pie storyline rachel and chandler have is one of my all time favorites! they’re such an underrated duo, could the be any funnier together??

Alicia Cue

It's a funny reveal, but I can't stand how childish Monica acts over the wedding thing. Bullying and guilting Ross into breaking his date to go to a wedding she explicitly wasn't invited to, just so she can rub it in the bride's face that she came anyway. The Phoebe/Joey story was lovely, though. They have such a bond and the David story is always so sad to see because they are perfect for each other but the timing just never seems to work.

Rhetorical Thrill

Honestly, most underutilized pairing, every time they have a story with just the two of them it's magic

Rhetorical Thrill

We didn't get enough of Rachel and Chandler together

Girls Always

First. Lol
