2024-11-28 20:09:51 +0000 UTCThis season! The emotions are so much closer to the surface than other seasons. Dustin's reaction to Eddie and Lucus with Max.. those kids can act!! This was the most intense season. Like you, 1&4 are my favorites. Did you notice when Vecna told Max it would all be over soon and not to move... That's what Billy said to all the victims in season 3. I loved your true and honest reaction. I was a crying mess at times. What a rollercoaster!! Be well!

2024-11-27 02:07:13 +0000 UTCI've said this before and will say it again: You really need to see "A Discovery of Witches," starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer. It's one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I've seen in years. The show is based on the 'Souls Trilogy book series by Deborah Harkness. It has three short seasons. In my opinion, this show's writing, directing, filming, and acting are some of the best digital has to offer today.

The only reason I bring it up is because it’s the most logical thing that El could have done to keep Max alive and I always try to find the most logical explanation for something rather then generalizing especially when there is prior evidence to support it. But of course it doesn’t specifically say that my line of thought is correct. It’s more of a logical leap based on El’s telekinesis😊

They say her heart stopped for a minute to indicate she was super dead, not elude to something she did to her heart specifically. She may have done literally anything else (she may have used the power of friendship 😆) and her heart would have still started again after a minute.

It's easily the most gruesome death in the series, and the fact that it was foreshadowed so early with just a passing line is wild

Oscar, Eddie became one of my favorites too and although, I love that he was a hero and didn’t run away, I’m upset that he died. Steve has always been a favorite of mine ever since his redemption at the end of S1 and I will thank the Duffer brothers again for deciding to keep him on instead of disappearing like his douchebag friends. I am afraid because I read somewhere that at least one of the cast is going to die in S5 and that it will probably be Steve because it will be the perfect way to end his character arc.

(And it's one of my special interests so I've seen most reactions 😉) It was so refreshing to watch someone who is so perceptive, could figure things out quickly, and be empathetic to all the characters! As someone whose favorite character is Mike, it was especially nice to watch someone who didn't end up disliking him by the end of this season! Now you have to wait for s5 like the rest of us! Filming is supposed to be wrapping in December of this year and then all we know is it'll be out some time next year! Then we'll be saying goodbye to our group of nerds forever 😭! Glad you went on this journey and I hope you continue it with all of us next year!

Ofc, this is just what I've heard, so maybe take it with a grain of salt 😅

He's still connected to Vecna some how. Sort of how Harry Potter was connected to Voldermort in those movies. I really hope I'm wrong and not only does he survive, he finds a boyfriend. I mean he's the only character that hasn't had a love interest. Also please give him powers besides being able to sense One.

Idk if you've watched Anne With An E before, but I think you would absolutely love it! 💛☺️ It's an adaptation/reimagination of Anne of Green Gables and I really love it. It has 3 seasons (deserved at least one more but Netflix cancelled it despite having a hugeee following). The lead is Amybeth McNulty (Vickie 😉). It's a totally different tone than ST but I think that's why it would be perfect in between some fast paced high stakes shows. (POSSIBLE SPOILER And while romance is not the central story, Anne and ******* are THE og academic rivals to friends to lovers 🥹 It is SO well done! 💞) And even apart from the romance, It has a lot of heart, the heart is what makes it what it is, and if you haven't watched it already, I hope you consider watching it 💞🥰 It was such a lovely surprise seeing her here as Robin's crush, because I know her as Anne from AWAE first :')

Now, you'll have to wait like the rest of us until season 5 comes out. I can't wait to see how they'll wrap up this series, and I can't wait to see your reaction to it. I also want to ask, will you be reacting to any more Hotel Transylvania movies, as you have only done the first two?

This means that something started it again, and I guess I'm just surprised more people think that something “special” happened instead of El using Telekinesis to get her heart beating again. In the scene it even looks like El is trying to calm her emotions which makes sense if she is trying to restart Max's heart using telekinesis so she doesn't damage it in the process.

I think "Dark" should be your next watch. It's such a good show; many people compare it to stranger things due to similar vibes in season 1 and the plot from the first episode, but I they are actually very different. Though I suppose if you like stranger things you're also really gonna like Dark and vice versa

All we see is her access happy memories of Max while she tries to resurrect her (which is the opposite of what Vecna does using negative memories to kill). Her heart beating after a minute is a correlation. You may be right but it’s definitely not a definitive thing that “people fail to connect”. It’s purposefully left vague what exactly El did.

You should also definitely react to Dark at one point, because that show is a work of genius, my absolute favorite Netflix show (one of my favorite shows in general) and one of the best works of science fiction ever created. Dark, Arcane and Stranger Things are peak Netflix and I will be patently waiting for the last season of Stranger Things.

As far as I know, blood continues circulating for a bit of time after you die. I'm honestly quite surprised that so many people fail to connect this particular dot. If she can force a bully to pee (season 1), she can restart her friend's heart.

So it stands to reason, if she was still connected to Max's mind, she could sort of energize Max's brain essentially.

I love how this season connects the entire series together with Vecna playing chess since the beginning and being the main villain of the entire series and I so can’t wait to see their rematch! Season 5 is going to be insane. I love that when Vecna showed Nancy the gates in episode 8 you could see max and Lucas’s blue lights in the attic so he knew he was going to win already.

2024-11-22 11:53:37 +0000 UTCExcellent reaction, as always! It almost seems like Max is stuck in Limbo, in a coma but her "soul" isn't in her body? With El going in, but not seeing her anywhere... But now we're all speculating, no one has a clue. By the way, if you plan to watch another show in the meanwhile, I recommended Game of Thrones, and I do think that'd be a great watch, but keep in mind while the writing is phenomenal as is the storytelling, it's a very graphic show with a lot of nudity, language, and gore. It's much darker than what you usually watch, just wanted to add that. For a less visceral but still just as incredible in its writing show, The Expanse Lastly, for some fun movies to watch (not sure if there's somewhere else to send recommendations), Armageddon & Independence Day

Hopper and Joyce's kiss at the prison before Hopper goes to lure the Demogorgon. 2. Eddie and Dustin's "I love you, man." "I love you too." before Eddie dies. 3. Lucas's desperate "Erica, help!" as he holds Max.
