Hello friends! Today I worked on more awesome creatures from this amazing book! I made:
Couatl - I really enjoyed working on this winged snake celestial. The original from 2014 had a more draconic look so I think that one is still my favorite, but, the snake look of this one was still fun to work on. I'm sure it'll look very pretty printed. For FDM printing you will get your best results printing it as is or on its back. You will lose some of the feathery details sadly. For resin users the usual presupported files are up.
Crawling Claws - for the individual claw as well as the Swarm of Crawling Claws I thankfully had a good base model to start with from 2014. After some sculpting and rigging work it wasn't too hard to make the swarm. For FDM printing this is very small so it will be challenging but not impossible. Angle it so the wrist is pointed upward as much as possible so no supports are needed under the palm then print only with supports under the stand and it should be ok. But if you do print with supports under the palm you won't see them anyway so they won't hurt either. As for the smarm you can print it as is with supports under the palms and just don't bother removing them as you can't see them anyway. Resin users get the usual presupported file.

Tomorrow I'm working on requests so expect some random stuff! Take care :)
