Another month for EOK, let's go over the news post for this month. I will note that this post will be short since not much has changed.
Here is what we have planned for 0.0.25. This is possible only because of the new help we are getting. I've gotten most of the team on their tasks for 0.0.25 update. Like I mentioned before I'm hoping to try to get as much as we can get done for this update. (Maybe finally alpha)
We got a list of things we are working towards for 0.0.25 update in August
Updated attack system - Getting items, more effects and animations to be updated for combat and making our team combat is ready for showcase.
Team member selects - A way for players to select their team members
Notification system - for level ups and quests.
New armor set - Finally some new clothes for Avina.
New weapons - I'm hoping to get shields and a new weapon into the game.
Basic tutorial system - A way to show players how to play the game.
Updating the story - Giving an ending after the first boss battle
New travel events - More events to discover
All of the old item art updated
Balancing pass - get weapons and monster values to be updated
Aside from that, some of the new team members are working on our new project. We have a 3d game that we worked on a game jam together and they are focusing on the art for that game. It's mostly our new 3d artist that is working on that.
I spent most of the month getting all the new folks set up with our workflow and planning for the new update. We might however push a bug fix before 0.0.25 as we are cleaning a few lingering bugs.
That's it for now. I'll get a post out soon about the next poll soon and the mid month art update (Gummy's post have been great so far!) will happen halfway through.
