Progress report & Announcements

Hello everyone,
hope that you are all doing well.

We would like to share with you an update on game production and 2 announcements we made on discord that you might have missed.

Progress report
The production of the new update is almost complete and we have already started testing new builds starting about a week ago or so. As of yesterday, everything seems to be pretty much in order. We will use this coming week to finish up some animations and do some final extra tests before releasing the update. Since Christmas is also coming, we have decided to release the new update right after that weekend.

Announcements
Announcement 1: we have 2 new team members we want to present!
You might have noticed that, although in the end we were able to release the last update within the month, we did gather some days of delay which we plan to gradually shave off as we release future updates.
This was due to 2 main reasons. The 1st one is the annoying fact that we had to invest a lot of time in replacing Flash content. Good news is that we are done with this transition and the next update, fingers crossed, should run fine without any flash component.
The 2nd reason was that both the designer and developer we had working on the project for over 2 years are no longer with us and we now have 2 new staff members covering those positions.
We didn't want to alarm anyone, but passing a project like this over to 2 new people in basically a single month without pausing production was quite engaging.
Nonetheless, everyone did a great job. Our previous designer and developer, with whom we still have a great relationship, were instrumental with their assistance and our new team members have shown to be passionate, reliable and hard working.
So with no further ado, let me introduce to you the 2 new people behind the latest update Mucci and Lima!
Mucci is our new designer, she is a very talented artist and her drawings are of high quality. Furthermore, she is also competent in using Unity and working with animations.
You have already seen some of her work as she designed the Elite team we presented in the On the Offensive update. Her skills shined most notably, in her design and animation of Frosty Stormstriker.
She has been working in art since 2017, she likes to portray strong women as well as furry subjects.
Lima is our new developer, he is a highly knowledgeable programmer accustomed to working with Unity and he has been doing a great job in assisting with the transition away from flash.  He is also the person responsible for fixing bugs and finding creative solutions to any code based issue we encounter. The test n fix phase we go through every month is a pretty grueling process, but Lima has definitively proven to be up to the task.

Announcement 2: creation of a new Patron only player controllable character, directly based on the input of Patrons.
This is something we have been thinking about for a while. We want to create a unique character that can be acquired in game and that is reserved to Patrons only.  Additionally, we want to create it following the directions given by our Council Member Patrons (aka Demon, lv9 Patron) and above. These directions include things like choosing the appearance (race, gender, various physical features etc) as well as deciding on how this character should fight, what kind of skills and special abilities it should have and so on.  Ultimately, Council Members will direct the creation, from the ground up, of a brand new character that will come with it's own back story and unique characteristics.
So if you are a Council Member (aka Demon, lv9 Patron) or above, be sure to stay tuned as we will be running a series of polls in regards to this new character.
