Update report/details - Unity Alpha 0.4

So yeah the 1st Unity Alpha version is officially out! Yay :D
First of all, we would like to sincerely thank you all for your support.
It is only thanks to your contribution to this project that we were able to create this Unity version. It was a long, arduous and resource consuming job, but it was also necessary to allow us to progress in the direction we require to allow for a really interactive game spanning across numerous realms.
This update is literally massive, by far the biggest ever released.
There is a lot that you do not see but that is either already in place or in the middle of production.
These things include thing like: a brand new Unity based battle system, item drops, item crafting, consumables such as potions, etc...
The main things that you will see in this update:
- the new unity look that includes: animated backgrounds, brand new hud system (menu etc), various effects and new details (post render effects, new mouse etc).
- the character development system is also in place. Things like gathering lust energy and attribute points that can be spent to improve your characters.
- brand new Ego Chamber featuring a lot of new features such as: inventory, full body view function, new upgrades (to be activated in future updates), 4 different character class screens (main class like Lust and Hottie, warrior class like Demonica, defender and worker which will be introduced as the game moves forward), etc
- auto save/load. This function is still a work in progress as we need to decide how to perfect it depending on upcoming factors. This said the game will remember for example, at which stage you are, how you spent your attribute points etc. You can restart the game fresh by hitting the "R" key on your keyboard while you are in the Main Hall of the Spawning Den (this is afunction we have in place for ourselves for testing purposes, but feel free to use it until we release something more user oriented).
- the much asked tutorial compression. We have had numerous requests for a shorter tutorial. So we have created a partially new tutorial that while also presenting some of the new functions (ex. Attribute system) is still a bit shorter than the original one.
- item pick up function. This is a brand new feature. Basically you can find items around the world that can be picked up or acquired in different ways. Doing so will unlock or activate various things. For example, the one we have in place now, is the world map that can be found on the floor in the Teleport Chamber. By picking it up, the world map becomes permanently available.
- options. On the main header menu, amongst other new things, we now feature the options screen. Here you can manage various settings like audio control, post effects and more stuff will be coming in the future such as different resolutions etc.
- credits. We now have a proper credits section, also available on the main header menu. Here you can see stuff like, our contacts, some names of some of the people involved in the development, the songs in the game (for which we have purchased a license, again thanks to your contributions).
This section is not complete, some stuff is missing (like my name is not even in it yet hehe ^^, but not a priority hey ;P) and we will be adding more stuff as we go along. The main concern was to credit all the external artists/creators... you know for due correctness.
Ok that is our post release report... I hope I didn't miss anything essential. We are already working on some fixes that we will release soon and we have already started working on the 1st new realm. I will post more about the upcoming update in the coming days.

Connected to that sex scene, there is a missing dialogue that tells the players to go back out the battle caverns for a final confrontation against Hottie herself. Now, even if the dialogue is missing (we are adding it and plan to release it with our next build), the battle should still be active. So after the sex scene with Hottie, try going outside the battle caverns and you should have the final battle: Lust & Demonica VS Hottie. This battle will unlock more of the game and some extra content (mainly located in the dungeon). That is where the story/game stops and will resume in the next update.

The first builds we made had an even more pronounced issue in that direction, we have been able to reduce the lagginess effect quite a bit, but it is still not as fluid as it used to be and as we would wish. Unfortunately, Unity is great for so many things, but it does have some downsides in comparison to flash (wich is simply incredibly great in making animations). We are still thinking and trying different options to see if we can improve it further.

2017-10-06 00:24:20 +0000 UTCHi Zoalord0, unfortunately, the beta asset we purchased from a Unity developer in order to make the game work on Unity has the defect that it will not resize what it loads. We are working on this and we hope to soon release a fix of some sort. As a temporary fix, setting your screen resolution to 1280x900 (size at which the game is designed) or above will solve the issue.
