And brandon take out the notes for this im gonna give you a deep dive in the question when you asked ron about orochimaru assuming the role of the kazekage, he was wrong to say that it was for the sound, the kazekage is of the sand village “kaze”kage means wind as its the land of wind which is already discussed in episode 6 not every land has ninja (such as the land of waves in the beginning where tazuna had to hire leaf village ninja), the five great shinobi lands hold the characteristics of “fire, water, lightning, wind and earth” essentially each kage corresponds with the land they are from like how the “ho”kage of the leaf village is the fire kage belonging to the land of fire, also kage means shadow so they are the shadow leaders of their respective lands and are full fledged leaders of the five great hidden villages (all 5 major ninja villages reside within their respective lands and the lands are much bigger than just the villages think of it as cities belonging to states like LA to CA or NYC to NY). The land of fire has the village hidden in the leaves “hokage” (where naruto is from). The land of water has the village hidden in the mist “mizukage” (think zabuza hes from there). The land of lighting has the village hidden in the clouds “raikage” (think the cloud leader who tried abducting hinata and was killed by her father which led to the death of nejis father). The land of wind has the village hidden in the sand “kazekage” (think gaara, temari and kankuro). And the land of earth has the village hidden in the stones “tsuchikage” (we know nothing about so far at this point). And then theres the sound which isnt a major nation as it was a creation of orochimarus doing. with what we know and without spoiling anything as of right now we know orochimaru impersonated the kazekage (gaaras father) thats why he had the kazekage outfit on before he abducted and fought the third hokage which leaves us with some questions like where is gaaras father? and also why are the sand involved in the first place if the real kazekage isnt there did he still give them the order from wherever he is currently? Or if not who could have the power to give them the orders for the war remember even the jonin like gaaras sensei is doing it because of the mission orders and with the power dynamic theres very few beings with the power to order around a jonin because as we know so far the main hierarchy within each of the villages are the kage (like the third hokage) > jonin (like kakashi) > chunin (like iruka) > genin (like naruto). Also dont think about anbu blackops in that hierarchy theyre essentially high level ninja but branch off separately and are granted special orders that serve directly under the kage like right hand men for espionage and other tactics like hunting down rogue ninja as explained in the land of waves when everyone believed haku to be an anbu blackops member of the village hidden in the mist. Also each major village has unique headband symbols like the leaf village has the leaf with a spiral <🌀 , the sand having hourglasses ⌛️, the water having rain drops 💦, the cloud having clouds ☁️ and as you would assume to stone having a stone or boulder 🪨 . Any other symbols than those 5 like the hidden sound having a music note 🎵 are not a major village they are a minor village so to speak. If you wanna know more lmk maybe add me on discord or something and i can explain in depth things you may have missed or forgotten without spoiling a single thing as i myself hate spoilers so much which is why i never read anime titles unless ive already seen it, theres not really any bad ones in the original naruto from what i remember but in naruto shippuden NEVER READ THE TITLES make it a habit because you will 100% be spoiled on some of the episodes brandon

Pop quiz for brandon, who is yashamaru to gaara in his life if we were to compare him to who is “blank” to naruto? As in who in narutos life could you compare yashamaru (gaaras uncle) to and how did it affect gaara when yashamaru was kind vs how gaara was after yashamaru revealed he hated gaara? Itll help you fully understand the impact of yashamaru when you make the correct comparison and had said “blank” person told naruto that he hated him the same way yashamaru did to gaara how likely is it naruto wouldve turned evil the same as gaara.
