Hello everyone! I'm not dead, don't worry!
It's been a weird week again. It started off very prosperous with an outlook of a lot of productivity, but suddenly it [life] came to bite me in the balls. I won't go into the detail of it, but it concerns family and getting a cold from it due to the stress. In the end, the stress was mostly on my behalf and eventually not really worth it all, as it's just the start of things. I'll jet have to face it. I guess that's just part of life.
Anyway, luckily I have a little bit of a backup, because sometimes I just go full steam ahead with drawing, become an anti-social hermit and not communicate. Here is one of those things that came out of my brain. A pumpkin Karen!
I've been experimenting with light effects again a bit, with mostly disappointing results. I think this example of Karen here is the way I want to go and apply in future work. It's cute, it's shiny, it's somewhat applicable with semi-realistic light effects and in general, I really like it. Now, this week, I'll be uploading a few other tests, some similar ones, some more experimental, so keep an eye out for that!
As you know, I'm also working on a new comic project, only slowly moving forwards, as I made a terrible mistake with the sketching process. Sketching with pencil. Also experimental, which was -well- another mistake xD I hope to get up to speed with that next week and prioritise that as much as possible over other projects. The script and plot are fun and I want to share that with you all!
Thank you for your continuous support! It means a lot to me :)
