New Tower OTW!
Added 2021-09-09 18:58:19 +0000 UTCAt last. The long awaited tower version of Helloc is going to be released in the coming weeks. His appearance may be slightly altered due to abiding to lore I've had in my head.
" Moments after defeating Helloc the triumphant heroes subdued the gatekeeper with a powerful incantation spell learned from the highest of the holy Paladin order. Even when weakened, few demons are strong enough to withstand the spell.
In his now more 'docile' state he is subserviently bound to the will of the doers of good. There is no sentence more torturous to corrupted daemon-kin. Thus a fitting punishment for Helloc, The Gatekeeper, slaughterer of millions. "
Helloc is heavily under development but shouldn't take too long. He will be a late-game magical-physical hybrid that is unique-per-map. The first ever tower to only allow one placed.
He will likely have 2 abilities + an auto-attack.
* Annihilation - Periodically destroys a lesser enemy (non-bosses) under a % of max HP threshold.
* Lava Waves - Periodically spawns waves of molten lava that charge down the path (from finish to start) and incinerate any enemy not immune to fire. Unlike Raging Waves, this can affect flying enemies.
* Auto-Attack - The classic Helloc bursting into a roar, heaving his immense sword 'Defenders Fall' and crashing down upon enemies.
