The Incubus System Chapter 1118. Bed Fight

The Incubus System Chapter 1118. Bed Fight

Lilieth had that air about her, the kind that said she always got her way no matter what. It was both impressive and, frankly, exhausting.

Before I could relax for even a second, Lilieth clapped her hands together, her eyes gleaming mischievously. “Anyway, where can I sleep tonight?”

I blinked at her. “Sleep? Uh, I don’t really have—”

She cut me off with a wave of her hand. “Where’s your room?”

The question caught me off guard, and I hesitated. “My room is upstairs, but—”

“You don’t have another room, do you?” she asked, her tone making it clear she already knew the answer. When I shook my head, she smiled triumphantly. “Then I’ll sleep in your room.”

Before I could argue, Puriel stepped forward, her wings twitching slightly as she crossed her arms. “But Ethan will sleep with me tonight.”

I felt my soul leave my body for a moment.

Larry, sitting nearby, froze mid-bite, a cookie halfway to his mouth. He slowly turned to look at Puriel, then at me, his expression a mix of shock and secondhand embarrassment.

Lilieth raised an eyebrow, looking Puriel up and down with something between amusement and disdain. “Oh, please,” she said, her tone dripping with condescension. “I don’t want to share a room with an angel.”

“I’m not sharing with anyone else,” Puriel said firmly, her gaze locking onto mine. “Ethan is my partner. Of course, I’ll sleep with him.”

Larry let out a strangled laugh, shoving the cookie into his mouth like it was the only thing keeping him sane. “I think I’ve seen enough,” he mumbled, standing up and brushing crumbs off his lap. “Good luck with… all this.” He grabbed a handful of cookies and made a beeline for the door. But after a few steps, he paused, turned around, grabbed three more cookies, and finally left without another word.

Celia, who had been watching the whole exchange with wide eyes, muttered, “You’re on your own, brother.” She scooped up Foxy, who was napping peacefully on her lap, and scurried off to the kitchen to hide. Smart move.

I turned back to the two women in front of me, both of whom were glaring at each other like they were seconds away from throwing down. “Uh… can we maybe—”

“No,” Puriel said sharply, cutting me off before I could even try to mediate.

Lilieth smirked, crossing her arms and leaning against the back of the couch. “What’s the matter, angel? Afraid you won’t measure up?”

“Excuse me?” Puriel said, her wings flaring slightly as she stepped closer. “This isn’t about measuring up. Ethan is my partner. It’s only natural that we share a room.”

“Natural?” Lilieth said with a mocking laugh. “Darling, nothing about this situation is natural. And if you think I’m going to let you play house with my son while I’m here, you’re sadly mistaken.”

“I’m not playing house,” Puriel snapped, her tone icy. “We have a bond—something you clearly don’t understand.”

“Oh, I understand bonds perfectly,” Lilieth shot back, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “And I also understand that you’re overstepping.”

I raised my hands in a desperate attempt to defuse the situation. “Okay, can we all just calm down—”

“No!” they both said in unison, their voices loud enough to make me flinch.

Lilieth turned to me, her expression softening slightly. “Damian, tell her she can sleep on the couch. It’s only fair.”

Puriel’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “I will not sleep on the couch.”

“Well, I’m not sleeping on the couch,” Lilieth countered, her tone sharp.

“Then what do you suggest?” Puriel asked, her voice practically a growl.

Lilieth smirked, clearly enjoying herself. “I suggest you find somewhere else to stay.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” Puriel said firmly. “Ethan and I are partners, and that’s not going to change.”

“Ladies!” I said, my voice louder than I intended. Both of them turned to look at me, and for a moment, I regretted saying anything at all. But it was too late to back out now. “Can we please not turn this into a war zone? There’s only one bed, and—”

“Exactly,” Lilieth said, cutting me off. “Which is why I should have it.”

Puriel scoffed. “You’re his mother. Don’t you think that’s a little inappropriate?”

“Oh, don’t be ridiculous,” Lilieth said with a dismissive wave. “There’s nothing inappropriate about a mother sharing a room with her son. It’s you who doesn’t belong here.”

“I belong here more than you do,” Puriel shot back, her wings flaring again. Her tone was sharp, laced with enough confidence to cut through steel, but Lilieth didn’t even flinch. She just tilted her head and smiled, that infuriatingly calm expression that only someone as powerful and smug as her could pull off.

“Oh, sweetheart,” Lilieth said with a chuckle, “you keep saying that, but it doesn’t make it true.”

Puriel narrowed her eyes, stepping forward. “I am his partner. That bond is sacred. Something you could never understand.”

Lilieth laughed, the sound light and almost musical, but there was a dangerous edge to it. “Sacred? Oh, please. You’re just a guest in his life, angel. I’m family.”

“Family doesn’t get to decide everything!” Puriel snapped, her voice rising. “Especially not when it comes to something like this.”

I groaned, already feeling the headache forming behind my eyes. “Guys, can we please not do this right now?”

They ignored me completely, locked in a battle of glares and sharp words. Before I could try to mediate again, Lilieth clapped her hands, drawing everyone’s attention.

“Fine,” she said, her smile turning into a sly smirk. “How about a little competition then?”

I froze, my stomach sinking as her words registered. “What?”

Puriel crossed her arms, glaring at Lilieth with suspicion. “What kind of competition?”

“Something simple,” Lilieth said, waving her hand dismissively. “The one who can satisfy him the best gets to sleep on the bed.”

I stared at her, my brain short-circuiting again as I tried to process what she’d just said. “Wait, what?!”

“Oh, don’t look so shocked,” Lilieth said, turning to me with a teasing smile. “It’s fair, isn’t it?”

How is he still surprised that its gonna be sex competition? Not to mention all the previous "competitions" brother, you're an incubus. You're mom is a succubus. You are discussing who's gonna sleep with you. What kind of competition do you think its gonna be, playing Jenga all night long?🤣
