Seven Sins System Chapter 530. Home Sweet Hell

Seven Sins System Chapter 530. Home Sweet Hell

I left the academy at dawn, the first rays of sunlight just starting to peek over the horizon. The quiet of the early morning campus was almost surreal. Most of the students were still sleeping, probably recovering from last night’s festivities or drowning in their textbooks. Either way, it wasn’t my concern anymore—not until Monday, at least.

I prepared myself to leave and fished my phone out of my pocket. A quick text to Katrina:

Me: Hey, heading back to my realm. Be back Monday morning, assuming I’m not too hungover. If I don’t show up, just tell the students I’m sick or something.

I paused for a moment, smirking at the absurdity of it all. My job as a mentor was basically a formality at this point. Considering I’d already “negotiated” my way with the owner and the principals—let’s just say firing me wasn’t exactly on their list of options.

After hitting send, I stretched my arms overhead, savoring the moment. The mortal realm’s air always felt too crisp, too sterile. It lacked the weight of power, the tang of chaos that filled the air in my realm. Home sweet hell.

The second I opened my portal and stepped beyond the shadow realm gates, I let go of my human facade. A pair of horns sprouted from my head, my wings unfurling as my demonic form took over. A deep breath filled my lungs, and I exhaled, watching the faint trails of smoke drift away.

“Much better,” I muttered.

With a flick of my wrist, I teleported, emerging directly into my office. The chaos greeted me like an old friend.

The cult leaders-turned-puppets were bustling around the room, their eyes hollow but their movements precise. They were sorting through piles of documents, muttering to themselves in a monotonous drone. It was efficient, sure, but also a little eerie.

And then there was my puppet double.

The idiot was perched on my desk, doing some kind of ridiculous jig that made my eye twitch. To make matters worse, he was dressed in full formal court attire—a dark suit with sharp lines, polished boots, and a crimson cape draped over his shoulders.

“What the hell are you wearing?” I muttered under my breath.

Ivy stood off to the side, completely ignoring the spectacle. Her sharp gaze was fixed on the puppets, supervising their work with the precision of a general.

I cleared my throat, loud enough to cut through the noise.

Ivy’s head snapped toward me, and the moment our eyes met, her usual composed expression melted into something much softer.

“Your Highness!” she exclaimed, dropping whatever task she’d been focused on.

Before I could say a word, she crossed the room in a flash, throwing her arms around me. The impact was enough to make me stumble back a step, but I managed to steady myself just as her lips crashed against mine.

The kiss was fierce, a mix of passion and relief, and for a moment, I found myself leaning into it. But then her hand trailed down my chest, lower… and lower…

“Hey, hey!” I said, pulling back just enough to grab her wrist before things went any further. “Calm down, okay?”

Ivy blinked up at me, her cheeks flushed but her grin unapologetic. “I missed you,” she said simply, as if that explained everything.

“I was gone for like… a month, maybe?” I pointed out.

“One month too many,” she shot back, her tone playful but her grip on me unwavering.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. Ivy was nothing if not relentless. “Well, I’m back now,” I said, giving her a small smile, even though I knew exactly where this was going.

She looked up at me with those sharp, glowing eyes of hers, her lips curling into a sly smile that promised trouble. "Forever?" she asked, her voice soft but loaded with expectation.

I chuckled dryly, shaking my head. "No, Ivy. It’s for Asmo’s birthday party."

Her face fell immediately, and the disappointment was clear from her face. "Right. Of course," she muttered, stepping back and crossing her arms over her chest. "How could I forget that?"

"Hey, cheer up," I said, reaching out to tip her chin up with my fingers. "I still have time for you. Sexy time, even. I know you’ve missed me."

Her lips twitched, fighting a smile, but she didn’t entirely give in. She just stared at me, those glowing eyes flickering with restrained emotion. "You’re such a tease," she said, her tone flat, but the way her gaze lingered on me betrayed her.

"Not just a tease," I shot back with a smirk. "I’ve also got good news for you. Remember Red? That vampire I told you about?"

She tilted her head slightly, her interest piqued. "The one who is loyal to you? Yeah, I remember."

"She’s my servant now," I said, letting the words hang in the air for a moment.

Her jaw dropped slightly before she regained her composure, her eyes widening. "Oh my devil," she breathed. "That’s good news."

"Yeah," I said, the grin spreading wider across my face. "And someday, you’ll meet her. I think you’ll get along just fine."

Her eyes narrowed slightly, a wicked gleam sparking in them. "Oh, I’m sure we will," she said, her voice dripping with excitement.

"Maybe we can even have an orgy someday," I added casually, leaning back against the desk as if I hadn’t just dropped a bomb. "After… ehm, my mission is complete, of course."

Her lips formed into a perfect pout, and she tapped her foot against the floor. "Why do you always have to ruin it with the ‘mission’ talk?"

"Because the mission isn’t something I’m doing just for fun," I replied, my tone dropping to something more serious. "You know that."

She crossed her arms again, her gaze softening slightly but still holding that edge of frustration. "I know," she muttered, looking down at the floor. "But that doesn’t mean I have to like it."
