sadness - carmen

I'm sure many of you know this song already from my youtube channel. it got a lot of views before youtube completely banned it for the imagery I chose to add in the video which made me kind of upset (it had pictures of people with cutting and blood and whatever). I still have the original video file if anyone is interested, although it's basically just a slideshow with choppy effects added for the mood. one of the next sadness releases I'm working on is an 11 track compilation of songs from 2015 that were either never released or never fully finished (for example "cutting emptiness"). obviously carmen was one of them, so this version has a little bit of a remaster done to it. I vividly remember that I created this entire song in 3 days, and on september 11 2015 I uploaded it to youtube, and that same day I made a lot of impulsive decisions that would lead to a pretty heartbreaking next few months of my life. I think the title of the song tells you enough about what's going on.
also, the sample in the beginning is grabbed from "y tu mamá también", a mexican drama film

I don’t want to have to let go

I don’t want the time to pass

Time already is lost, alone…

and the day comes

and I think to myself again

how little time we had

even though we fell so quickly

I don’t want to lose time…

Somehow.. deep in the desire

I found you

though hope always finds its way to collapse

with every step that is taken..

When days pass and you always remember me

I know that I’ll be somewhere deep in your heart

but I won’t be able to feel the embrace…

I’ll never forget your smile

and how for one moment, I was loved…

no te vayas… no te vayas...

This might be too late, but I really wish I can have the original file.

Really like that you were pushing the imagery on this. It's inspired me to dig up a song that I had written back in the early-00s - that lyrically had similar imagery - and master and release it. Reality is difficult for many of us. Unfortunately, many of the platforms that reach large numbers of people also want to play things safer than not. Appreciate the share.
