update

in the middle of february I made a horrible mistake and accidentally deleted the entire "works in progress" folder on my computer that contains every unfinished song across all of my projects (most of them at least, still amounting to over 80 GB of project sessions). I have backups and copies of most things on two external drives but because of my carelessness and distractedness I never bothered to save backups of anything I had done for the past two months, which resulted in quite  a few new songs and newly updated songs becoming lost forever with the exception of a draft mp3 bounces I keep to listen to unfinished songs. of course I can't really work with an mp3 of an unfinished song that well. needless to say this upset me so bad that for a while I was really discouraged from working on anything. the files I lost included many songs I was really excited about, for sadness mostly. I took my computer to a data recovery technician to see if he could help me recover anything from the unused disk space on my computer drive. for whatever reason he has been taking his sweet time because it is the middle of april and I haven't recieved my files (although he says he's almost done). whatever the case I just really want to get these sessions back so I can work on them again finally. I ask you all to please divert any intention energy towards manifesting my files because I would really like them back. my state of discouragement has subsided and as of quite recently I've been very active in composing and recording new music again. so with the deleted songs and the new songs there is a lot of new music waiting in store for everyone. I also just moved to a new state, so I am also waiting on my new drum space to be ready so I can record drums. also sorry for the silence. in the mean time it might be a little while until I finish any new songs so in the mean time if you have any songs you'd like to read the lyrics for I'd be happy to share. I think there should also be a lot of older songs that need only vocals to be finished and I can probably do that soon as well

You should use a cloud service such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, I've lost around 500 go of music some years ago, never again, now all my music is on my hard drive with instant backup on Google Drive (10€ for 2 to of space)

Hey just so you know, there are ways of recovering files after emptying trash! I've accidentally done this with my own music before and it sucks. Look into free data recovery software, and try not to make too many new files until you're able to try recovering the deleted ones. Good luck!
