More Flowcharts!
Added 2022-01-11 17:37:35 +0000 UTCMythic Magazine #14 will have more flowcharts in it, covering rules that weren't covered way back in issue #4 when I did this last.
If you'd like, please list what rules you'd like to see get the flowchart treatment. As a reminder, issue #4 covered these:
- Using The Fate Chart
- Resolving Random Events
- Resolving Scenes
- Adventure Crafter Adventures
- Fate Check
- Detail Check
- Behavior Check
Time to get graphical! :)

That's an interesting idea about a flowchart directing to different rulesets. I've heard similar suggestions before, based on the fact that with Mythic Magazine coming out every month there is a huge and growing number of Mythic and Crafter game mechanics and it's sometimes difficult to sort them. I'll consider some kind of flowchart that is basically a guide to every rule available. I think this would be most useful for those who are getting prepped for an adventure and are kind of fishing for ideas.

2022-01-14 18:46:57 +0000 UTCI'm particularly interested in the Mystery Matrix. I had another look at it and wondered whether a flowchart would help conceptualise it. I find the flowcharts useful for reminding myself of how the system works. An idea for a flowchart or similar tool would be a list of generic questions you might ask during the flow of a game pointing to the various tools available. E.g. "Who is this person" would point to any NPC creation tools with their locations and a helpful comment to help choose which one to go with. If that makes any sense? Just a thought :)
