Added 2021-11-05 21:10:17 +0000 UTCHello everyone :) I hope Halloween was enjoyable and safe for those who celebrated it, and now we're heading into my favorite season of the year, Autumn :)
I think I've said this before, but I have changed gears on my strategy regarding a Mythic Magazine compilation. I'll do one for every 6 issues, instead of 12. That means I am already deeply behind, so an issue 1-6 compilation is in the works. It's not quite as easy as tossing all six issues together, as I'll have to make some formatting decisions. Such as, where do I put the welcome messages and how do I handle all the cover art.
Speaking of cover art, I have Jorge making a new cover for the compilation issue. I'm asking him to incorporate elements from all of the covers of issues 1-6 into a single cover. I plan to make that my approach for each compilation. We'll see what he comes up with!
Mythic GME Second Edition is still in process. It's going slow, mostly because I have to work it around the monthly Mythic Magazine and other projects going on. I suppose the bright side of that is, the more Mythic Magazine issues that come out the more chances some of that material will make it into the Second Edition books.
I'm having a blast doing Mythic Magazine, and I'm very pleased with how well it's being received. In hindsight, I feel like Mythic, and maybe solo playing in general, needed something like this to keep stirring the Pot Of Ideas.
Also, I want to say thank you to all my Patrons. Starting this Patreon page, and launching Mythic Magazine, was quite a departure for me from how I usually work. As such, I was anxious when I began this because I wasn't sure what I was doing or how well it would work. I'm grateful and humbled that you've chosen to accompany me on this journey. For however long you choose to support my page, be it a day or forever, thank you. I appreciate you :)

Thank you John! I can't wait to see it either. I'm glad you mentioned Jorge's art as well, I'm looking forward to seeing his various covers in a row. It makes me think I should do a The Art Of Mythic book, showing everything he's done since the beginning.

My wife and I have had a lot of fun and some really memorable moments playing co-op using your books. We're very excited for Mythic 2 but in the meantime the Magazines are super useful. The simplified behaviour made me say too many times « oh damn… what am I doing now.. » in Symbaroum. The rest of the ideas and how-to’s are at my disposal to inspire or shake things up in my games, so truly thank you for all your creativity and passion ! To another amazing year !
