Juri Part 4 (Cutting Room Floor)

As the first of it's type ill explain what post like these are. These post are will cover the behind the scenes stuff about the particular comics I make mostly pertaining to stuff that was cut out.

As far as part 4 of my Juri series goes, that was probably my longest comic which I probably should have expected since it's so story heavy and goes over Decapre's entire motivation and almost all of her important history. Since I have no interest in doing a series for Decapre it had to be done in one comic.

The first thing that was cut was the Decapre vs Chun-li fight. It was originally supposed to be shown but I just went with the aftermath and focused more on Decapre vs Febrero. Juri  mentioned being there for the Doll's capture by S.I.N. This because she's the one that captured most if not all of them. I thought about showing that with a few images but i cut it out cause I didn't want to go find a new location for it and i was lazy about converting the costume I wanted for it.

The Doll candidates  where originally supposed to be the  main original Dolls but I decide against it cause Decapre being the last one of her original team under Shadaloo's control made her seem more lonely. I hade also converted a bunch of Doll clothes for something later in the Juri series and decided to use some of it now.

The Decapre vs Febrero fight was a repurposed one from a scraped Juri Part 3 comic. I originally started working on it right after part two but never got to far. Tier 2 and 5 patrons can see what little of it is there. It originally involved Febrero getting fed up with working under the Shadaloo Scientist and wanting to go with Juri and Decapre. Juri suggest that Decapre and Febrero fight and the winner goes with her while the loser stays and takes control of the Shadaloo base, Juri's reasoning being that she would come back for the base after she's done with her business since she lost her old one to Cammy. These events could still have happened but under different circumstances and reasoning.

There was supposed to be a scene of Decapre spying on Cammy throughout the events of "Doll's Dilemma" and becoming enraged at the sight of her becoming so weak after hooking up with Chun-li.  She would have then attacked the Delta Red base only to be driven off by either Leona who was acting as Cammy's successor, which greatly angered Decapre, or Yoshino from Metal Slug. I wasn't sure if I wanted Leona to pop up in it or not which is why I considered Yoshino but ultimately I cut it because it was too much stuff.

There was originally supposed to be more to the Juri vs Chun-li fight but i wanted to save extra details for future comics and didn't want to redo too much of a comic that already exists in Squarpeg's "Mouthful 2".

If any of these ideas sound interesting to you let me know. Maybe I might go back to the or reincorporate  them into something else.
