Channel Update #45 (Apr)

There is a new video out. It’s not Baldur’s Gate. It might not be what a lot of people want. It is very political. And I’m sorry to anyone who doesn’t want this video. But I felt like I had to do this.
I’m not too sure what else to say really. I might make a longer update in a few days if I do have more to say, or I might just make next month’s update early. I’m pretty tired to be honest. This video was a lot of work. Lots of research and rewrites and a slow editing process, and right now I am more drained than usual at the end of a video.
Anyway the next video will still hopefully be Baldur’s Gate but there is a chance there might be more of ‘this’.

While broadly aware of the pieces contributing to the original Gamer Gate, I had heard absolutely nothing related to the content around GG2, except that Suicide Squad hadn't reviewed / performed well. Much as with the Emil video, while I never would've thought I'd care to watch a video on this topic, the work you as a content creator put into it made it both interesting and engaging, and serves as a great reminder that we have a need to stay critical of information we come across in order to ensure we don't get swept up in misinformation.

Although decisive, I appreciate you including some of the worst of both sides of the discussion. Sometimes I need videos like this to remind me how good we have things here in the west if these issues end up taking up any brain space. Silly issues in a silly world. Cheers, Chicken Chaser
