Self-Portrait Sunday - A Rose by Any Other Name
Added 2025-05-11 22:00:03 +0000 UTCIf you know me, you know I just do not have time to be editing a ton of photos, so a lot of my photo shoot explorations involve me trying to shoot the photo good the first time so it looks good straight out of the camera. I wanted them to look a little darker and moodier, but they were too dark in the first couple, then too light. From the close up ones (8+) on, this is how I wanted them to look. I wanted the contrasting red to pop against and compliment the dark green. I love opposite complimentary colors in photos and art. Happy Mother's Day to your Moms, wives/girlfriends, pet moms, sisters with kids, and any other females in your life that take on that roll.

2025-05-12 22:38:07 +0000 UTCI love the exposure in #s 4-7. They remind me of old photos pulled from an album. My personal favorite image, however, is 8. I love the saturation, and how close the lens is gives it a layer of abstraction even though the lewdness is plain. Just excellent composition for perverts that also happen to appreciate art. Or art afficionados who also happen to be perverts, but I feel like that might be redundant.
