Welcome or welcome back! Thank you, either way, for being here. You give me a reason to create and help with my finances and my ability to pay for hair cuts, nails, makeup, props, wardrobe, sometimes even gas money, and all the things that help me to keep creating these images that you get to enjoy here. So, for some of you the $10 is a lot (and I truly value that you choose to spend it with me) and for some the $10 is nothing in your monthly entertainment budget (but I want you to know it makes a huge difference in my monthly budget and my ability to sometimes even do something as simple as get a hair cut or not). That is enough about the boring money parts, but I just want people to know that I see you. I value you. I value when you come back. And, I value your likes and comments, too. I read them all, even if they are constructive and make me think.
I titled this April Fool because I think I look like a fool in some of these, but I also think it's important to try different poses, because you never know what will look good and what will not. So, I told James I'm going to get up on the counter and do yoga poses and we can see what that looks like. As the poses went on I love some. I don't love the first ones, but I am sharing them with you so you can see what the process may look like with a model. Every single photo in a shoot will not be good. You have to lose some to win some. But, by being free and feeling a trust connection between model and photographer it gives them both the ability to experiment and win the big wins with iconic images and bringing new creative art to the photography game. Lots more great posts coming this month... stay tuned!
