Once More (working title)

Once More is a story puzzle game, following an individual who is visiting their childhood friend Verla in a quaint town they have never been to before. Hit with strange visions and met with stranger resistance, curiosity becomes resolve as the two of them journey to the base of one of the many titanic chains that intersect the horizon.
I'm very happy with how Puro has been coming along, but due to the sheer amount of work required and what little resources I currently have available to me, Puro is at risk of taking several more years to complete. And so, we'll be switching gears for a bit, shifting focus to a significantly smaller title that could be developed from start to finish in less time than it would take to produce Puro's public demo.
The game, tentatively titled Once More, is a character-driven 2D puzzle-adventure game, similar in style to titles such as Yume Nikki-inspired titles, Mageko Castle, OneShot, or Ib, with an emphasis on story, levity, character bonding, and hopefully punching you in the gut emotionally, featuring music by Deniz Akbulut and Beat_Shobon!
Uniquely, the game allows you to set up your character's appearance and name! We're aiming to let you mix and match between 8 sets of faces, 8 bodies, and selecting your own colors. Here's some mock ups!
As of writing, the game has left pre-production. Being a story-focused game, development of this title will be a little quieter, and is unlikely to be a beta, closed or otherwise. Patrons will, however, get early and/or exclusive access to various concept art, dialogue snippets, character reveals, and screenshots.
Additionally, any patrons pledged from the beginning on this year until release will have their name listed in the credits, and any patrons who were at the Off-White Mage tier or higher at the beginning of the month of release will receive it for FREE.
