BUILD STATUS (0.0.2f97)

So it's been three weeks since the previous patron build, something that I was earnestly not expecting to happen. Here's what's been going on:
- I've been working hard on Puro's remaining core moveset, including tweaks to some existing moves, a combo system, and projectile deflecting (as of this writing, only two core actions — a charge attack and a secret mechanic — are missing), but it required rewriting nearly all of her code. Unfortunately, introducing these mechanics also introduced a LOT of game-breaking bugs that needed to be dealt with, or I would've handed you all an unplayable mess.
- There's an tentative new team member handling audio mixing/sfx/music, but to make the most of what he was bringing to the table, FMOD needed to be fully integrated into the project. Thanks to some issues with GIT, this wasn't the most graceful process, taking several days to get working correctly, but it's all in there now!
- Typically, when I introduce a new core mechanic into the game, it's not quite where it needs to be, and I hand a build over to you fine folk to help refine it into something fun. Sometimes, what sounds good on paper ends up being objectively not fun in practice, and I had to rapidly prototype a number of ideas to find an acceptable alternative. Such was the case here.
- Yes, a slightly more polished version of that baseball room will be in the next build :3
I am deeply sorry for this ongoing delay, and will be posting a poll shortly, as I wish to know what everyone would prefer in regards to handling the game as is. And as always, thank you ever so much for your patience!!
