I’m excited to announce the Patreon test release of Project p1.19.4! This update is a test build which now brings quality of life improvements for the following:
The GUI has been enhanced with a broader range of cataloging options, providing greater flexibility for users who prefer not to work with the command line.
All GUI options now persist your catalog preferences, so you won’t need to reconfigure them each time you run a catalog (save occurs at catalog time).
Added more back-end code for scraping sources/outage detection work.
Started planning for an Editor mode, which would allow users to edit catalog entries directly.
Rolled up all other accumulated bug fixes and updates found during the course of development.
As always, please remember this is a test build. Always take backups and experiment against a small sample size before rolling out any major changes to your collections. While I don’t expect to find any serious problems, If you can identify any issues, please feel free to reach out to me on Discord so we can try and resolve them! If you have any Patreon specific issues (e.g. Billing), please feel free to reach me on Patreon.
Note: While this project may run fine on other platforms, please keep in mind that the current supported (tested) operating systems are Windows 10, and Debian 11 (Bullseye).
