Sasuke Chapter 91 Catgirl Jinchuriki?

Yoruichi recalled Sasuke's meaningful words from a moment ago, the curve of her smile becoming more pronounced.

"I'm getting more and more curious, just what astonishing method has the little genius thought of?"

She admitted that her previous words were more of a casual tease.

Easy? Those were two completely different worlds, with different laws and energy compositions. Wanting to travel freely between them was no simple matter.

"In that world, there is a special kind of creature."

Sasuke's footsteps didn't stop as he spoke calmly, looking straight ahead as if organizing his words.

"They are not beings of flesh and blood, but collections of energy composed of pure 'Chakra'."

He stopped walking, turning his face to look at Yoruichi.

"They are called, Biju."

"Biju?"

A flicker of interest passed through Yoruichi's cat-like eyes, as the term was completely unfamiliar to her.

"Energy collections? Like Reishi with their own consciousness?" She tried to understand using concepts she was familiar with.

Sasuke shook his head, "They are more like natural disasters capable of heaven-shaking, earth-shattering power."

He paused for a moment before continuing, "Through a technique called Sealing Techniques, these Biju can be sealed inside a person. The person who bears the Biju is called a Jinchuriki."

"What did you say?!" Her cat-like eyes widened sharply, "Sealing a conscious energy entity into another living soul? How is that even possible?"

"Won't there be intense rejection between the souls, leading to the destruction of both?"

"But they did it." Sasuke's voice was flat, "The person who has a Biju sealed within them is called a 'Jinchuriki'."

He thought of the violent yet powerful presence within Naruto.

A thought, entirely unbidden, flashed through Sasuke's mind.

‘Yoruichi often existed in the form of a cat...’

‘As a cat, maybe it would work?’

He glanced subtly at Yoruichi, his mind instantly conjuring an absurd image of sealing a cat into his own body, which he immediately dismissed.

However, this brief look was keenly caught by Yoruichi.

"Oh ya?" She tilted her head and suddenly laughed, the sound full of amusement, "Sasuke-chan, looking at me like that... could it be......"

A flash of excitement appeared in Yoruichi's eyes.

She leaned forward, her pretty face almost touching Sasuke's nose, her golden eyes shining strikingly bright. Her voice carried a hint of barely suppressed laughter, "Are you thinking of treating me like one of those ‘Biju’, sealing me into your own body, and using that to take me over there?"

Sasuke's body stiffened almost imperceptibly.

"Of course not." He said almost immediately, as if to cover up something, unconsciously taking half a step forward to create distance, "I don't know Fuinjutsu."

Besides, he wasn't foolish enough to place another consciousness inside his own body.

"Eh? How boring." Yoruichi pouted, a clear look of disappointment on her face, as if she had missed out on a fun experiment. She straightened up again, crossing her arms, "So what is your method then?"

"It's another technique." Sasuke's eyes regained their calmness, "Another technique originating from that world, but with a completely different principle."

"Another technique?"

"Summoning Technique."

Sasuke succinctly uttered the term, then explained in detail, "By signing a blood contract, the user can summon a creature they have a contract with to their side from anywhere, traversing space."

"Blood contract? Summoning across space?" Interest once again ignited in Yoruichi's eyes, "Sounds like some kind of high-level spatial Kido."

She tilted her head, a trace of confusion in her golden eyes, "But what does that have to do with the Biju you mentioned earlier?"

"The relationship is..." Sasuke stopped walking, "...that someone can use the Summoning Technique to form a contract with a Biju, and then summon it in the form of a 'Summoned Beast’."

"Although the principle is unclear, this proves that the Summoning Technique's formula is capable of carrying an energy entity of the Biju’s level."

Yoruichi's golden eyes widened sharply as she instantly understood the meaning behind Sasuke's words.

"You mean..." He looked up, his eyes seriously examining Yoruichi, "...your essence is very similar to a Biju. Like a Biju, you are also a pure energy entity, and can also take an animal form."

Sasuke paused, delivering his conclusion.

"So in theory, as long as we can form a contract, this technique should work for you as well."

"When I am in that world, perhaps I can use this technique to forcibly summon you, who would be in this world, over there."

Silence fell.

Yoruichi didn't answer immediately, just looked quietly at the boy before her.

After a long while, she finally let out a low, utterly delighted laugh.

Yoruichi's laughter echoed in the passageway, not concealing the admiration within it.

She stuck out her tongue, lightly licking her lips, her voice filled with a thirst for the unknown.

"Interesting, truly fascinating!"

She looked at Sasuke, reached out, and gently patted his shoulder.

"Well, it's settled then."

"When do we start our 'contract'?"

"Now."

Under the underground training field.

Urahara crouched at the edge of the deep pit, his fan tapping the ground intermittently.

His eyes under his hat were fixed intently on the figure curled up at the bottom of the pit, struggling bitterly against his own Chain of Fate.

"Urahara-san..."

Orihime's voice held a tremble she couldn't hide, her hands clenched tightly in front of her chest, "Kurosaki-kun will be alright, right? What if he really becomes..."

She didn't dare say the word, but everyone knew what it was.

"Then we can only apologize to Kurosaki-san." Urahara stood up, spreading his hands, his tone cruel, "After all, this is the path he chose himself."

Tessai stood by on high alert, the atmosphere extremely tense.

Just then, a series of light, quick footsteps came from the other end of the passage.

"Hey, Kisuke!" Yoruichi's voice was full of barely suppressed excitement as she rushed up to Urahara in a few steps, "I just heard a super interesting plan!"

"Oh ya?" Urahara’s gaze moved away from the pit, looking at Yoruichi with interest, "It's not common for Yoruichi-san to be this happy about something."

As soon as he finished speaking, he saw the black-haired boy with the calm expression following behind Yoruichi.

Yoruichi didn't beat around the bush, immediately laying out Sasuke's concept regarding the Summoning Technique in detail to Urahara.

As Yoruichi explained, the smile on Urahara’s face gradually faded, replaced by a complex expression.

"...And that's it!" Yoruichi finished, looking up excitedly, "So, Kisuke, isn't this kid's idea genius?!"

Kisuke let out a long sigh, slowly turning to examine Sasuke before him.

"Sasuke-kun, your idea truly exceeds my imagination." He praised sincerely.

But after the praise, he immediately pointed out the key issue.

"However, can this technique truly break through the barrier between the two worlds?" Urahara's tone became grave, "That's not merely a spatial distance. Whether the efficacy of the 'blood contract' you mentioned can extend to another completely different world is still unknown."

"Unclear." Sasuke shook his head, answering bluntly, "It's only a theoretical possibility."

"The actual effect can only be verified after I go over next time."

"But before that…" Sasuke's gaze turned to Yoruichi, "We can complete the contract signing in this world first, and test if it can work."

"Exactly!" Yoruichi was already impatient, "Even if it doesn't work out in the end, getting to experience this kind of marvelous power is definitely worth it!"

No time like the present.

Sasuke walked to a relatively flat open area and bit his thumb.

Bright red blood welled up. He crouched down, preparing to draw the contract array on the ground with blood according to the memories of the Summoning Technique’s scroll.

But when his fingertip touched the ground and he tried to guide the blood with Chakra, he found it only left a simple bloodstain on the ground, utterly incapable of forming a power-infused formula.

"Won't work?" Sasuke's brow furrowed.

"Oh ya? Seems you've run into trouble," Urahara, who had been watching clearly from the side, fanned himself, looking thoroughly amused.

Sasuke ignored his teasing and tried again.

This time, he didn't rely solely on chakra.

He slowly merged refined Reiatsu with the Chakra at his fingertip, then once again traced a line on the ground with his blood-stained thumb.

This time, it worked.

The moment the blood touched the ground, it glowed with a faint red light.

Sasuke's eyes focused, and without pausing, his fingers moved swiftly across the ground.

Soon, a blood-red array composed of countless complex symbols was completely displayed before everyone.

"So this is the contract array for the Summoning Technique?" Yoruichi curiously walked around the array a few times.

"Write your name here, in blood." Sasuke pointed to a blank space at the center of the array.

Yoruichi didn't hesitate. She shifted back to human form, also bit her thumb, and wrote her name in that blank space.

Shihouin Yoruichi.

The moment the final stroke was placed, the entire blood-red array suddenly blazed with intense light!

Sasuke's and Yoruichi's names shone within the array, eventually transforming into two streams of crimson light that flowed into Sasuke and Yoruichi respectively.

Yoruichi's body trembled slightly. She closed her eyes, carefully sensing the strangeconnection deep within her soul.

A moment later, she slowly opened her eyes, her cat-like pupils filled with delight.

"I can feel it." She said, looking at Sasuke, her tone certain, "I can clearly feel that an invisible thread has been established between our souls."

She paused, then added, "Moreover, the initiative of this thread seems to lie completely on your side."

"I can sense your call, and I can choose whether or not to respond."

"Can choose to respond?" Upon hearing this, a flicker of understanding passed through Sasuke's eyes.

That made sense, as Yoruichi wasn't a true summoned beast.

The contract was more like an invitation than a command.

"However..." A sly curve appeared at the corner of Yoruichi's mouth, "...If it's Sasuke-chan's summons, I'm willing to respond anytime, you know."

She leaped nimbly, landing back on Sasuke's shoulder, using the tip of her tail to brush against his cheek not too lightly, nor too heavily.

"So, our 'contract' is officially established?"

"Mhm."

Urahara, who had been watching clearly from the side, his eyes shimmering with barely contained excitement.

"Oh ya? That looks truly fascinating." He said, fanning himself, his usual smile plastered on his face as he walked over.

He crouched down, poked the already dimming blood-red array with the end of his fan, then slowly looked up, asking in a half-joking tone.

"Say, Yoruichi-san, Sasuke-kun, could you count me in on this interesting 'game'?"

Yoruichi was lazily sprawled on Sasuke's shoulder, teasing his earlobe with her tail tip.

Hearing this, she lazily glanced at Urahara, her cat-eyes full of mockery.

"Oh? Kisuke, you want to be this kid's 'summoned beast’ too?" Her voice was full of laughter, "I wouldn't mind having some company."

"My, my, Yoruichi-san, you're so direct." Urahara let out a dry laugh, completely ignoring her teasing, his gaze burning as he looked at Sasuke, "Well, Sasuke-kun?"

"One more contract might mean a better understanding of this technique. It could potentially help our future research."

"Suit yourself." Sasuke didn't refuse.

After all, having an additional reference point could indeed help analyze the nature of this technique.

"Then, thank you very much." Urahara clapped his hands cheerfully and, imitating Sasuke's earlier action, bit his own thumb.

He walked over to the not-yet-completely-dispersed array, crouched down, and prepared to sign his name next to Yoruichi's.

However, the anticipated red light did not flare up.

The drop of blood merely left an ordinary bloodstain on the ground, starkly out of place next to the still faintly glowing symbols.

"Hmm?" The smile on Urahara's face stiffened slightly, and he raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Strange, why won't it work?"

Not believing it, he tried again, using every method he could think of to channel his Reiatsu, but the result remained the same.

The array seemed to have a natural rejection towards him, it simply couldn't engrave his name.

"What a pity." Urahara shook his head helplessly, "As expected, Yoruichi-san is the special one."

Just then…

“Roar!!!”

A roar filled with extreme agony and resentment erupted abruptly from the bottom of the deep pit!

Immediately after, a massive Reiatsu surged skyward from within the pit!

"This Reiatsu..."

Urahara's smile vanished, his expression turning grave. He whipped around, staring intently in the direction of the pit.
