Annual membership option
Added 2026-01-04 19:37:30 +0000 UTCHi everyone! We finally figured out how to enable annual memberships on Patreon. If you'd like to switch from monthly to annual (and receive a 20% discount), here's how:
From your Patreon home page, go to Settings
Click on Memberships
Click on View Details for your Love Marry Kill membership
Under Billing Frequency, you should see an option to Switch to annual

Also, a note that if you subscribe through the Patreon app on an Apple device, there is an additional surcharge applied (30% or more). To avoid this, subscribe through the Patreon website using your mobile or desktop browser.

Yay! I got it to work - I had to do it through the website instead of the app, so hopefully that helps with others who are trying to switch :)

2026-01-05 11:58:35 +0000 UTCHi Monique, you're right, it does have to do with Apple. They add a significant fee for in-app purchases. If you subscribe to Patreon through your mobile or desktop web browser instead of the app, you should be able to avoid that. We're sorry about that, unfortunately we don't have control over that.

2026-01-04 21:02:20 +0000 UTCI had to cancel the membership to get the annual. I’ve been charged 7.50 per month. Will I actually be able to get it for 4$ a month? I was charged a fee and it was 7.50. It’s irritating. I know it has something to do with apple.
