"Lumen Rewritten"
Added 2024-04-01 16:00:09 +0000 UTCIt’s finally here… the season I keep believing I’m in but self sabotage it by allowing outside sources to influence my direction.
They are not to blame.
Some of these outside sources were full of good intent… even real love.
I am not to blame either.
Something I’m still trying to process.
I also had pure intentions and my actions were love based…
but unfortunately this love had very little to do with loving myself.
I gave myself away, little by little, for the love of others and in hopes of loving someone hard enough into loving all of me.
Again, all good intentions but fatal to my mental health and self love.
2023,
I survived fake love… but I also discovered real love… neither of which I was able to keep within my arms.
I learned that red flags are not challenges…
I learned they also exist in friendships, not just romantic partners.
Realizing that not everyone has good intentions for being in your life was a humbling revelation.
I found a community of friendships that held me up when I couldn’t walk on my own.
I was able to tap deeper into my artistic soul and create vulnerable works of art.
Not only did I receive encouragement through my sharing, it seemed my sharing also helped others.
Though this is still a process, through the ups and downs, I’m discovering who I am and what I dream of becoming.
I learned that love isn’t always enough…
I will be going back into time, digging deep, sharing my journey and hopefully connecting with those who need it too.
But to keep things fun and light hearted, my stories will come with a twist:
some will be true and some will be make-believe!
Some may be obvious and others will have you wandering...and some readers will only know if its true because they recognize story and maybe even see themselves within it too! :D
What can I say?
Its the foxx in me that loves to keep everyone guessing!
Truth be told, this career isn’t for the weak… it’s for the resilient, hard workers, passionate doers and soul searchers.
If I didn’t love it, I wouldn’t have made it this far.
But here we are.
Giving it all I have…
I’m still doing it.
However, this time:
Smarter, Stronger, Bigger, Better.
I’m coming from a different place of experience, learning and growing.
I’m still
