I have been doing some "experiments" with Blender celshading and a software called EbSynth (which allows me to "replace" an animation changing one frame)
I take one rendered video and draw over (with photoshop in this case) the first frame and then the software emulates the movement with the image I used including the details.

it's complicated to explain but here's a video explaining it better
now I can make the "toon" renders more detailed! and try some more things using my 2D skills! :D
