In my opinion, this is the best car to learn proper driving techniques in GT. It’s stable and responsive without being overly reactive, which makes it easy to understand how driving inputs work in a controlled manner , almost like driving in slow motion. You have the time to establish your racing line, modulate your speed without over-braking, and practice clean, fast corner exits.

It’s an excellent machine for the Lightweight Cup. While not an easy win—since the competition has similar performance, it’s also ideal for lobby racing at 400PP on the Nordschleife. The gearbox is tuned for the Nordschleife, but you can add 200 kg of ballast to improve top speed on faster tracks. On twistier layouts with long straights, performance remains consistent and reliable.

The Daihatsu Copen is slightly faster, with about 8 km/h more top speed, but the Honda offers better grip and sharper handling, making it the more enjoyable choice for technical driving.

Enjoy your drive. ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

I set my first gear to 2.492 but the visual gap between first and second is much larger than what is shown in your screenshot. Edit: I fixed this by changing the final drive to 4.875, setting first gear to 2.106, then changing the final drive back to 4.120.

Ok , 600PP all track.

Can you visit the engine swapped version?

This one has really fallen behind the Copen and Cappuccino. Could you revisit this one when you have a chance Maestro?

Shockthealien

This one still holding up on the current version?

Shockthealien

Yes, it’s a good option to take advantage of the new PP margin , but on slower tracks like Tsukuba, it might be better to reduce the added weight. A 200 kg penalty for just +23 HP can hurt your corner exit performance, especially on tight, low-speed sections.

Currently using this for the Lightweight K-Cup, it did great on Willow Springs, however for Autodrome I can’t catch up. I added 200kg ballast and set the output back to 100. I’m right at 399.96 pp. all other settings are the same as your tune.

This tune made the Human Comedy Autopolis 1 hour enduro a dream to drive. Fuel Mix 3 and short shifting on the twisty bits except for the pit straight where I bumped it up to 1. Pitted every 9 laps for fuel and tyres. Did two stops on this strat and won by 40 seconds. Only change I made was using 15 inch rims instead of 13. For some reason I couldn't select a wide offset on the rims no matter what wheel size I tried. The car felt a bit more responsive mid corner with 15 inch rims instead of 13s.

Whew I feel better. I had to take screenshots and flip back and forth before I noticed.

lol I jut came here to say mine was stuck at 408. Thanks

Shockthealien

Yes. No racing brakes also.

Laurent Bouis

I just want to point out the transmission is manual (not racing), and the muffler is semi-racing (not racing). Accidentally putting on the racing transmission will leave it at around 408PP.
