"Dr. Frankenstein" SWAP Engine: Superior 700PP Performance

This is another Dr. Frankenstein SWAP—full power on Racing Soft tires with a rear diffuser, creating a totally superior 700PP machine. Honestly, it almost feels like it needs its own class to keep things fair against the rest of the 700PP lineup.

It’s not ideal for Le Mans, as it can’t complete a single lap on Fuel Mode 1 and manages only two laps on FM6 with short shifting. However, it delivers an incredible sub-2:11 lap at Spa.

Handling is excellent, and this time, I didn’t use any rear ballast to tame the power. Instead, I prioritized a lighter setup with a shorter braking distance. Despite its 968 HP, the car’s overall balance remains superb.

Enjoy your drive ><(((((((°>°°°°°°

Excellent drive... its a rocket on wheels

Any chance you could look into a 600pp Tokyo Rain version of this tune? I just used your tune, put on SH tires, changed ecu to normal, changed brakes/pads to normal, and slightly tweaked the downforce and it gets to 600pp, and with no other adjustments it is doing some really fast lap times.

Nice job croberto_94

Laurent Bouis

With RH tires and FM6 this absolutely destroys Le Mans! It is one of my very top performing cars on that track.

You can't reduce the PP due to a PP bug as most engine swap cars. You'll have to buy another Body then: Weight reduction 1 only Install Body rigidity Front downforce 165 You'll have 699.93PP and a few heavier car but it'll be ok

Laurent Bouis

I love this car and your tune, its so perfect! In 1.55 i get pp 703.2. Do you have any idea what to change for to ger down to pp 700?

Mathias Malte Johansson

Crazy horse! Takes a while to learn to tame all that power, but the numbers tell it all.. My best 700pp on Nordschliefe so far. Thanks @praiano63!

Michael Roper

Okay, I think I was coming to terms with it in my last few laps as I began short-shifting on sweeping turns to avoid the power band. Hearing that from you is reaffirming as I thought my short shifting was babying the car because I messed something up. Thanks for the insight.

Aj Camacho

Just take care at high RPN whre all the power is. You need to shift earlier till 3 gear , mainly out corner. Of course 968HP on this peaky engine is not easy. Tires aren't so large too. If you have problems , traction control 1 or 2 can be the solution . For me , it's manageable. Not easy but manageable.

Laurent Bouis

Even at half throttle in 3rd gear, this thing wants to spin out on exit. It also shimmies a lot on wide sweeping turns, you can feel the tires losing and regain grip over and over. I think I matched your setting to the tee, but I can't go 5 laps without crashing it. I just can't predict when it wants to lose traction. Are you driving it like a drag car to compensate or is it just behaving completely differently for you?

Aj Camacho

I didn't test it but sure they have the same performance more or less. The Toyota '16 have a different setup. The drive is differently. Different weight balance too. Toyota 86 GT Limited '16 - FR - 700PP - Racing Soft Tires - All Track - SWAP - 1.52

Laurent Bouis

Aaaah alright. That's very weird. Thanks mate :D do the engine tuning parts change the driving behaviour too? I put I to 960 hp and used you're setting (put the torque and accel send to 60 even) and it's still spinning out. Super weird, I'm gonna try with the new engine. Edit: you have the engine upgrades too in the picture? Am I confused?! 😅

Toni Trz

Does it effectively perform the same as the Toyota version of the car?

Rudy Sanchez

Oh shit thank you!

Kyle Jodoin

Change top speed to 500 first

JCHammer

I can't get the gear ratios right for some reason. Not sure how it works. The lowest my first gear will go is 3.649 when the final is 2.500. If I raise the final I can achieve a lower first, but that is not how you have it here. Any idea what's going on?

Kyle Jodoin

It's a cheap engine , buy a new one. 67.000 cr$ only.

Laurent Bouis

You can't add engine tuning parts. There is a PP bug. This way fully tuned , you need to use a lot of limiter or ECU and lose a lot of HP to bring it back to 700PP.

Laurent Bouis

How do you achieve the HP? I got it fully tuned and received 1066 HP. Adding the weight and even decreasing the HP via ECU output only puts it down to 729 (from 730). Is it bugged? 😅

Toni Trz

Praiano, you’ve truly outdone yourself—this BRZ feels like it’s trying out for the Avengers lineup! Spa at sub-2:13? Might as well add capes to the paint options… if it still passes emissions, that is! 😏
